Went to shrimp boat for lunch on the way out on the way home. Upon arrival we were greeted by Joe. We had a large party. They accommodated us an were super nice! He thanked us for coming an made sure were accommodated to our liking not to their liking! Once we ordered an were eating joe once again came an checked in on us an even went to each table individually an Thanked us again for coming! We did the lunch special crabs were full an hot! The kids had some things off the kids menu that came out super fast! Our waitress also kept checking on us an kept our drinks full! Great an friendly service! We will definitely be making that our new crab stop each time we come! Highly recommend them!
First this place is unique as there is a boat outside the restaurant selling crabs and shrimps. Their XL crabs are amazing! Cooked perfectly and it is meaty at this time. The seasoning was just perfect. I love that they allow you to sample their shrimps while you are waiting for their food. The staff are amazing. There are indoor and outdoor seating. We chose the outdoor and it was a little hot when we were there. In the back of the restaurant there is also outdoor seating and it not as hot there during the evening.
If you are a seafood fan and visiting Ocean City or Assateague then you must try the Shrimp Boat restaurant for its authentic assortment of local seafood delicacies. The crabs and shrimp are fresh and delicious! We tried the flounder and it was amazing too. The owner stopped by to say hi and the staff was very caring and courteous. Will definitely visit again.
Debby and the hostes was really nice. It was our 1st visit to the restaurant on a Thursday around 4:30 so it wasn't too crowded. The food came out quickly. Appreciated the shrimp samples but beware the heads are still on if you are squeamish. We shared the boil, crab dio & fried shrimp all was very tasty. Looking forward to going back!
Stopped in for dinner and what a treat. Food was amazingly fresh and delicious. No frills type of place which puts all emphasis on the food. Everyone pleasant and friendly. Was thanked for coming out to eat there by owner. We had the flounder stuffed with crab and the shrimp, crabcake plate. My mouth is still watering. For me, the sweet tea was perfect. Very enjoyable dinner.
We stopped for lunch today at the Shrimp Boat Restaurant in Ocean City MD. It was amazing we were welcomed by Julie the hostess who was great! Debbie was our server and provided great advise helping us pick our meal. The food was outstanding!! Service great! Plenty of parking, outstanding atmosphere,a truly great experience!!
I catered an order for a bachelorette party in OCMD and worked with Joe a few weeks leading up to our event. He could not have been more accommodating and easier to work with! The week of the event, he was super flexible with time changes for when we needed the meal ready. Then, when we got the food, it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp were incredible quality. We LOVED the mac and cheese and really enjoyed making our own lobster and shrimp rolls with the lobster and shrimp salad. I would definitely recommend working with Joe and catering from Shrimp Boat to anyone interested in having some great seafood!
