great food & good service. i’ve been coming here for years & always have a good experience. this year, though, our server wasn’t the most friendly but my past experiences outweigh this one. the food is a bit pricey but it’s always delicious!!
We just ordered take out tonight and had an excellent meal! We had the chicken fajitas and added extra torts and sour cream and glad we did! The portions were so big it's enough for two meals! We also go the Tequila Burrito which was a monster and delicious! Service was great, price a little on the high side but worth it! We have our lunch/dinner ready for tomorrow!
We just went to Tequila Mockingbird in Ocean City Maryland. Very disappointed. I can’t think of one good thing. The place was dirty. Bathroom and kitchen was disgusting. Service was very slow. Food was cold and bland. For being known for their margaritas … yuck! And I love a margarita but not there! Even charged us extra on our bill because we didn’t pay in cash. Prices also very high for what you get, food was about what you get at Taco Bell but Taco Bell is better. Again don’t waste your time amigos !
Drinks are better than the food. Initially, I chose Juan Ton Tacos but, by 6pm, those were nonexistent (I was told only so many were prepped for the day) so I ordered Grilled Tuna Tacos (crispy shell = 3) and Steak Tacos (soft shell = 3) to go. Ordered House Margarita while waiting, 1 shot of Teremana Tequila Reposado (yes, Dwayne the Rock Johnson's co.) as well, accompanied by complimentary Chips & Salsa. Waited about 10-15 mins, then food was ready. Tacos traveled 10 mins to destination. Steak was chewy on the soft tacos - we cut it up into smaller palatable pieces - and Grilled Tuna was under seasoned (Crunchy Shells didn't remain crunchy, but we suspected they wouldn't for ride home.) Cilantro Rice & Pinto Beans were fine. House Margarita on point, and a wide range of variable tequilas makes this a great place for spirit connoisseurs. Decor seems outdated, but forgivable given the pandemic has shortened services for such a retrofit. Staff was friendly, attentive, both at bar & up front.
I’ve been going here for a long time, and while it definitely is a little pricey I think it’s more than worth it! I love the margaritas and the chimichangas are scrumptious! Our servers name was Bella and she did a fantastic job, we will be back next year!
Meals are at very high price cost dinner are good meal Salsa are made fresh daily good servce. nice mexican decorations
Salsa and chips were all that was good. My enchiladas I think were made with meatloaf. Will never return.
Simply didn’t give 2 of us our food until we had to remind them they were all just sitting their talking
Quick and kind service, but food and drinks were just eh. Definitely not authentic tacos, enchiladas etc. and the margaritas were very sour mixy, didn’t even finish ours. Seafood enchiladas definitely not worth $22?
The staff with whom I interacted were certainly kind and helpful, but the food here was quite disappointing. We got soft chicken tacos, the beef quesadilla, tortilla soup, and chips and guacamole. The chips and soup were OK. The quesadilla was marketed as spicy but definitely was neither spicy not flavourful. But most disappointing were the tacos - the meat was dry and without seasoning and the tortillas were too large for tacos. They may have other offerings that merit a more positive review, but authentic Mexican fare this is not.
