Great service and atmosphere. Views of bay. Unfortunately, i am GF and ordered appropriately but reacted quickly to the food. No confidence the kitchen understands GF
We really enjoyed it here! Beautiful atmosphere and speedy service. We were there in off season, so I’m sure come June they’ll be way busier, but the environment is so cool it’s worth it. We tried the waffle fries which were awesome to snack on. The crab cake egg rolls and crawfish were great, and the crab bisque was epic. We’d definitely go back!
Arrived around 5pm, right before the dinner rush. Was able to get a great seat with an amazing view. Even if you don't get seats directly at the window, you're able to see the view from any table. The service was wonderful! She was very informative and helpful in picking our selection. Highly recommend this place.
This outdoor seating area with a nice playground is sure to please anyone who comes in with kids. Their kids meal is served on a frisbee. All in all the food was good. Fresh seafood and some creative menu choices. On par for a reliable restaurant- but not at the level of a Fagers island. Would return.
Can’t beat the environment especially for young children. Server was very friendly and upbeat. We ordered drinks and deep fried pickles which is a favorite of our little family. The first set came out undercooked with batter. And there was also a small black hair in one of them. Which we saw only because we were looking for cooked ones. After seeing the hair we returned it back and they replaced it and the second was fine. Serving them on a bed of lettuce may have made them soggy so maybe find another way to serve them may help. Playground kept out 4 year old busy for at least an hour.
Down for spring break. Wanted to find restaurants with outdoor seating. Ropewalk fit the bill except when I arrived the hostess said it wasn’t available. I don’t know if she meant it was only available by reservation for I saw a few folks out on the deck later. We tried to call in carry out but it went to a full mailbox. I then went into the restaurant again and was directed to the bar to order. The bartender was wonderful and our food came out fast. I had a seafood Cobb salad and hubby had a crab dip burger. Food was good and I would have loved to have eaten it on their lovely deck.
Excellent alittle loud food great service was great we thought plates were well prepared &delicious.
Ropewalk is a must for anyone as it accommodates people from all ages and interests. I have been going to Ropewalk for delicious food, drinks, and atmosphere for years. Now that I have kids, it’s a different experience in a fantastic way. My wife and I love their drinks and food, while my children can’t get enough of the playground and eating with sand beneath their toes. This place connects with you if you want to eat inside in a conditioned space, outside and feel the breeze but be covered in shade, have drinks at the fire pits, hover around the bar, challenge your friends to cornhole. It’s a can’t miss experience.
We really enjoyed earing at this restaurant with friends in the summer. The few of the bay was gorgeous. There are outdoor games for kids and adults. The food was amazing. We will return.
Service was on point. Good prices on their Happy Hour beer. Nice view of the bay but don’t sit directly in front of the window or the beer taps reflect in your face. Plus, you are staring at the taps. Food is good.
