I've literally traveled the world including numerous trips to Italy where I've sampled the best Italian dishes. I took a gamble and tried an Italian restaurant in a vacation area, something synonymous with trying gas station sushi! I was amazed! I literally had the best pasta dish in my life at ristorante antipasti, the Timballo. The service, apps and even the espresso was excellent. Highly recommended!!
Having grown up Italian in the bronx I had an idea of what was good Italian food. Then spending 20 years as an adult traveling the world and eating the best Italian dishes on countless trips to Italy I have little love for the usual chicken parm garbage Italian restaurants. Imagine my surprise when, against every instinct I had, I went to an Italian restaurant in a shore vacation spot and had the best pasta dish of my life! The Timballo Abuzzese is out of this world! Everything from the perfect, thin, melt in your mouth pasta to the perfectly seasoned ground veal, sauce and spices combine to make an indescribably good dish! The service, apps and espresso were all dead on too. Can't say enough about my experience here.
Always an amazing dinner! The big secret of this Italian favorite is they have the best steak in Ocean City. It's perfectly seasoned and cooked to your exact temperature. Cocktails are well crafted and the wine list is very reasonable. This is a top choice in a sea of many great Ocean City restaurants.
Solid Italian fair with good serving sizes. The service wasn't the best, particularly given the place presenting itself as upscale dining. However, if still be willing to go back, even if it wasn't my top pick.

We picked Restorante Antipasti because it was rated highly and was conveniently located. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and so was the food. Our charming waiter was from Columbia but knew the menu as if he had grown up in Italy!
Being from NY, we have very high expectations for Italian food. This restaurant met & exceeded!! We’ve been visiting OCMD for many years & always drove past & thought it wouldn’t be good. Glad I looked at the reviews & decided to take a chance. This one will be on my list year after year now!! Too busy enjoying our meal to take pictures but Cesar Salad & Veal Chop (special) were amazing!
We totally enjoyed everything about this restaurant. We had excellent service and wonderful food. The caprese salad was the best we have eaten. The bolognese was flavorful and the veal parm had a tasty sauce. The side of penne was cooked perfectly and the sauce was different and flavorful. We will be back Sharon.
What a wonderful dining experience!! Whenever we come to Ocean City we dine here several times! Delicious food, wonderfully attentive staff - just a delightful dinner!! Love it!!
