Placed an order on our first night here during the busy season. I know delivery takes awhile and it isn't really a big deal because I knew this when I called. They gave us a delivery time of 80-90 minutes, no problem. It came earlier and I was pleased. The driver, was very nice! Very nice. The lady who took our order was nice as well. She explained the driver only carries 20's, she told us there was a delivery fee, no problem because I know gas is high and some people just don't tip. The customer service was great. We ordered the special with the stuffed crust pepperoni, and the one topping pizza. I think it was 24.99. We decided to try the spicy pepperoni roll and we added a 2 liter of soda. The stuffed crust pizza and the pepperoni roll were not done. It was really doughy, the cheese pizza was good. I wasn't calling to complain, return the food, or get new food. The kids were hungry so the cheese pizza was gone in 5 minutes. In a time where money is tight, and gas is expensive this was a bargain. I wish it would have been done because I do love poppa John's. But I just wanted to give a good review to our driver and the woman who took our order. They did great.
Absolutely terrible. I do not typically leave reviews but this one needed to be left. The guy was rude when we got in there and we should have just not placed our order but we did anyways. He told us it would be 2 hours for delivery and it was within that time frame. We understood because a lot of people vacation here. However we paid for extra sauces and didn’t get them after he was rude at the restaurant and took 2 hours for one pizza which by the way was fully cooked either. When we tried to call after about a minute the phone went dead and it’s almost like they shut off their phones completely off. They were rude and unprofessional.
So these geniuses apparently cannot understand an order correctly, my 12 year old daughter is highly allergic to gluten and we specified this a few times on the call….. after spending 4 and a half hours in the emergency room with our child papa Johns customer service team could have cared less about the issue and while the store was still open no one answers the phone to explain the issue we called the corporate number only to get a team clearly not based in the US and have them say sorry for the experience can we fix the pizza? Most disgusting display of humanity that I have ever seen. Steer clear of this company especially in ocean city Maryland.
On the Saturday night of June 25th the Ocean City location near 35th street was in utter shambles. The management rolled his eyes as I waited silently for 100 plus minutes for a pick up order of only 2 medium 1 topping pizzas. They took my payment and I had to call an Uber for a friend because I was stuck dealing with the incompetence at Papa John's. The management was shouting at the lobby full of people as if he was giving a public address. To paraphrase he wanted to be left alone. As far as I am concerned this place no longer exists.
I ordered my pizza around 8 o’clock it’s now almost 11 o’clock and still have not gotten my order. I tried calling the store over 20 times and they hung up on me every single time. If you see this review I would never order from this place. I would give this zero stars if I could.
Do not ever order from here, staff is rude and does not care about getting food to you in a timely manner. They caught an attitude with me about the status of my order, they are over an hour late and they’re 4 mins down the street. Ridiculous.
On vacation and literally ordered a pizza at 10:40 and still have not received my order it is now 12:51 and they are almost closed, also they don’t answer their phones at this ocean city location. DONT EVER ORDER FROM HERE they don’t wanna work, they are better off collecting unemployment because they don’t know how to do their jobs. Terrible.
Worst service ever. Ordered a pizza at 7:34 pm it is now 11:11 pm and still nothing. Drove all the way to the shop to pick the order up myself and was told I couldn’t pick it up even though the order was ready and placed on a shelf for pick up. Came back to my hotel and still have yet to have my pizza delivered. Called the customer service number and have yet to be able to get in touch with someone in regards to a refund. Never and I mean never order from this place.
First, it was 30 mins late which usually is not a big deal but when he came to door he didn’t ask if we wanted change because we only had 20s. Then when we opened our pizza it was all smushed together and the pizza wasn’t cooked. It was terrible. Do not recommend
Absolutely terrible. They delivered a meat pizza when I clearly repeated we wanted a veggie and half cheese. I had to walk over to the place as we could not even get to the location to even speak to a manager. Papa John's is simply terrible.
