Lemonade, funnel cake and smoothies were good!
A must stop every year when we visit OC! If I lived there, I'd be at Love's every weekend. Best shaved ice, fresh squeezed lemonade and hot fried dough! Can't say enough great things about Love's! Make sure you look for the iconic large lemons hanging from the store front! One of the places I have to stop when we visit OC. It's compulsory!
I saw a YouTube video that touted Love's as being the closest you can get to real Hawaiian shaved ice without going to Hawaii. I emphatically disagree. Normally I would not choose lemon as my flavor, but since this place is supposed to be known for its lemonade, I thought that was the logical choice. Not so. The shaved ice itself was ok. But all the server did was pour lemonade over top of it. It was a HUGE glass of watered down lemonade. And it's expensive to boot. If I ever return to OC and feel the need for shaved ice, I will try one of Love's competitors.
Delicious shaved lemonade/ice tea drink. My son googled up the corn dog and fried Twinkie. Great service, friendly guys, quick service
Delicious food that was made fast and such delightful staff. The ice tea and lemonade mix hit the spot. My son said it was the best corn dog ever.

My family and I were on vacation and I love funnel cake and this place had the best tasting funnel cake I have ever tasted!!! You could tell the grease was fresh, it was deep fried to perfection not too hard, not too soft, just right! And the customer service made for a GREAT, Customer experience!
First night in OCMD and was hungry for an evening snack. Every place was closed early apparently due to COVID but was happy to find this open and ordered on-line with delivery via DoorDash. Ordered a hot dog which on line says comes with ketchup, mustard, onion, and relish. The hot dog was hot and grilled and tasted great, but was dry and bare -- no condiments! The funnel cake was hot and tasted good but was cut like a pizza and prefer to pull it apart. No napkins were furnished -- when knowingly delivering to a hotel and people probably didn't bring napkins with them. The Lemonade is always fresh, cold, and good. Enjoyed that. The $7 frappucinos were good but costly. Happy to had found a place that was open but disappointed no condiments, no napkins, and our little "snack" came to over $50!
So glad I found Love's Lemonade. They have the best food and customer service. If something is not to your liking - they will fix it. They are pleasant, courteous and professional. I can't wait to visit this week.
Always get a large lemonade when we are walking the boards. Ice cold and really hits the spot when you are thirsty.
