Sat at the Bar after asking where I could sit. Ordered an app & Sampler. The app a Poke Tower was placed in front of me, it looked great. It tasted great. Problem. How am I to eat this? No utensils, napkins, Chop Sticks, or Soy sauce. So I had to ask the take out girl near me, " Can I get some utensils and Napkins. She gladly gave me them. The soy she gave me was in a take out container, no problem. When I finished my sampler, I ask for a container for the Poke Tower I could not finish, again, great tasting app. The waitress gave me a take home container after taking my plate and chop sticks so I nothing to place my left overs in the container except a straw? She was horrible! Gave a 15% tip. Shame, cooks deserved more as I tip 20%+ as my wife yells at me all the when I tip so much. But not tonight! Again, great food.
i eat at nori all the time and love it! whoever left the review saying the sushi is “flavorless” must’ve had covid because the food is anything but that! i will definitely return again and again. try the nachos, tsunami, and the vegas. you won’t be disappointed!!
I'm going to start by saying, maybe tonight was an off night for this place. Previous reviews looked promising, but sadly this place didn't live up to its hype. I'm a big sushi lover and have eaten the full spectrum of bad to excellent and sadly I have to rate this place as blah/2 stars. The portions/cuts were very small and the price was higher than what I pay in DC! The sushi was pretty flavorless. I will give props to the idea of the combinations of the rolls. Here's to hoping everyone else's experience is different/better.
Service 4/5Food 0/5Server was great but very overwhelmed and busy so we understand.However we paid 90$ for Frozen grocery sushi and fried rice. Just absolutely disgusting and very lacking of both authenticity and flavor. I get it this isn’t a real Japanese restaurant so I can’t expect much but for 16-25$ sushi’s it should be more then 6 pieces and definitley more flavor. We also got the lobster and crab fried rice which was a joke! A kids portion and no crab nor lobster. Where was the garlic and onions? The soy sauce? I felt like I was consuming a boxed of microwaved teriyaki fried rice.
I arrived with my family after my mom suggested we try a new sushi place. We walked in and were seated at a table for 8, one half of the table with normal chairs and the other with a couch which made 4 of us a whole 2 feet shorter than the other side. We ordered 3 appetizers. 2 of the appetizers were never delivered until we got our entrees. The 1 appetizer we did receive, which was edamame, was dry and mealy. It had obviously been microwaved. We ordered drinks, and when my sister took one sip, the waitress asked, "How was the sangria"? followed by abruptly singling my sister out and saying "I need to see your ID." This was beyond uncomfortable and easily upset her. When the food showed up it was all placed on a wooden board, which would have been fine if there were 3 of us at a round table. But we had 8 people at a long table who had ordered separately and needed to distribute our own food to each person. Then we were told there were 8 pieces in a roll. When the food showed up there were 5 pieces in a roll, and when questioned about the number, the waitress blamed my father for "not listening." I'm shocked by all of these good reviews considering our experience was beyond appalling. We will NEVER be back.

First time visiting. Won't be the last. Brought our couple friends and had a fantastic meal. Salmon Teriyaki was cooked perfectly! Sushi/sashimi was excellent and great portions! Service was super friendly and attentive. Really appreciated a nice big bowl of delicious Miso soup.
