We had not been to Nick’s House of Ribs for several years. I remember good quality food and excellent service. The menu has changed since our last visit. I used to get a crabcake and ribs combo. I could not find that on the menu. I LOVED the broccoli salad, which to my surprise was not on the menu either. We started out with the queso dip with “tri-color tortilla chips.” The dip was average, and the chips were a bit stale. My wife ordered the seafood imperial flatbread which included sauce, cheese crabmeat, shrimp with old bay. It was okay, nothing special. I ordered a rack of ribs, baked potato, and collard greens. The ribs were dry and tasteless. The collard greens were so bitter, I requested another vegetable instead. We went for an early dinner. When we left around 5:15, the restaurant was still not crowded. Based on the quality of the meals we had, I can understand why. I realize that things change, but this was not a change for the better. We do not recommend dining here.

Ate outside and had a great server. Live music was pleasant, and the food was perfect. Ribs were fall off the bone, and the Nick’s Bbq hit perfectly. The steak frites had great flavor as well. Keep it up Nick’s.

I went the other day and it was great, the ribs were great and flavorful. I had the nicks sauce and it was great. The fries were very crispy and my corn was seasoned great. The server was newer, he was a very cool dude and did good, he helped me decide on what I wanted. I also had the carrot cake and my friend ordered the cheese cake. The cheese cake was great and had a very good raspberry filling on top, it reminded me of a pastry filling. And the carrot cake was my favorite item of the night, it was super flavorful and the icing was great, I loved the nuts in the frosting. This place was great and I think the other negative reviews are just looking for a reaction. I definitely recommend this place

The service was good. The onion loaf was like one big onion dipped in breading and fried . The only part that had batter on it was the outside. My daughter and husband had the slab of six ribs . A hamburger Patty would have been bigger. The ribs were tender . The taste was ok at best . The amount they were served was unreal. They need to adjust their sizes and prices. NEVER AGAIN. our meal was over $150 and it surely wasn’t worth that!

So disappointed. $25 steak was so tiny S was the salmon . Went for yrs. But past couple yrs disappointed. Last yr they had no potatoes ☹️

My daughters pizza kids meal was a bigger portion than my salmon entree at half the price. Far too overly priced for what you get when it’s definitely not fine dining. Waitress was great, the manager needs some customer service training. Overall, a pretty underwhelming end to my vacation. We won’t be back.

Nick's is currently (6-18-22) charging a 3% credit card fee. Although not unheard of for a restaurant to do so (but crappy), they do not tell you about the fee until the check comes. They do not post it it anywhere. On the bill itself there is no description of the charge. The itemized bill shows one amount and credit card slip is 3% higher, but no description. I voiced my displeasure to the manager, then the owner came over (Scott). Scott was very disrespectful and rude. We typically eat there 2-3 times per month. Not anymore.Just look at Scots replies to others on the reviews. He should hire someone else to make the responses. The food was good, as was the server. The ownership is rude and shady. Why charge a surcharge..why not raise your food prices. And if you must charge the 3% fee..disclose it before the bill comes. Shady---shady---shady

I was served with stab of spare ribs with old fries. i told the server to send them back and get hot fresh baked potatoes. Spare ribs are alright good but it is not my favorite. my favorite is baby back ribs

Loved the atmosphere brick and wood, beautiful. Quiet no TV in the dining area! Wonderful service, friendly and helpful. The ribs were tender and the regular sauce just right not to spicy or sweet. Very happy with Nick's.

This place use to be awesome but cutting corners equals cutting customers. I haven’t gone in over a year because of the same reason. I thought well maybe things have changed and ordered carry out today chicken n rib combo for $28 you shouldn’t get maybe a 1/4 rack of ribs (3 bones) and smallest chicken/ thigh Same situation last time I ordered a year ago Based on the owners replies on negative feedback that I’ve read I’m sure he’s not going to suddenly start serving 1/2 rack of ribs and a decent size chicken/thigh combo. I mean 1/4 rack $2 wholesale , very small chicken combo $1. Bake potato $0.25 bake beans $0.10 rolls $0.10 total $3.45. SMH
