Friendly and hard-working staff, great food. I had the vegan baked taco salad. So good!
The happy hour special is great. $5 margaritas and $3 tacos. The tacos were really good and the margarita was excellent. The margarita was blended so well I couldn’t taste the tequila but it was strong. The service was really good too. It was very fast and the staff was very friendly.The only thing I didn’t like is that the place did not seem very clean. The furniture and the walls were dusty and run down. The restaurant definitely needs to be updated.
One of the best tacos I've eaten in a long time. Wait time was a bit long but was there during Memorial Weekend, so expected. Server was great and attentive. Food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Came in late on a Sunday night. Service was quick, server excellent (took our order without pen or pad and got everything right), and food was Excellent!!! We order tacos, crab soup( the best I've had) and chicken wings cooked to perfection!
I don't remember ever eating another beef taco that I legit felt a sadness when there wasn't any left.And the queso. I can see myself sitting on a stoop somewhere eating it with only my fingers and a smile.Yes. It was that good.Didn't even get a chance to take pictures. Just one of all that was left. Then I ate the crumbs.
I've given this place one star because the rating is way too high! My first instinct after getting cold chips was to leave a tip and leave before the drinks arrived. Wish I had. I asked for warm chips and it was not possible. The salsa was okay, not great okay, B- or C+, a C- with the cold chips, at home I can put them in the oven for a few minutes. The food cost too much, but I'm from Virginia & it seems almost everything is more expensive in Maryland. The rice was terrible, it tasted like Chili's Tex Mex rice. That's how I would describe the food more Tex Mex than the Americanized Mexican food you may be used to. No one of Mexican decent to be seen here, American interpretation of Mexican food = Tex Mex. This was Maryland Mex. Thumbs down for me, we like Taco Bell better than this. Maybe a good bar but if you just want Mexican Food: NO!
Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Better than anything else I've eaten from before! I feel the warmth in every bite as I take from their appetizers, to steak fajitas, tacos and much much more. It really felt like each dish was made with care as if they were cooking for their own family. Staff was accommodating too! Though small in size, they have enough space and tables to house each customer that comes in. Mothers cantina deserves to be my usual from now on.
3 stars.The food was amazing! No words for how perfect the Queso Taco was. Not quite smothered in the Queso like the menu describes but, I was completely satisfied. Chips and salsa were great. Taco lovers should try this place... But, not for the drinks. We ordered an Orange Crush and a Traditional Margarita and they were both terrible. My face puckered after each swig from the straw. He couldn't even finish his.
Great team and food! Highly suggest to anyone visiting, or to the few locals who don’t know yet!
