Met up with a friend who is the GM of one of the nice hotels on the boardwalk and stopped by for a few rounds. Being from NYC, I’ve never stepped into a restaurant that also sold liquor, wine and beer from the counter, wine shelves or fridges as if it was a liquor store. Was able to sit in the 2nd room at the bar watching the prep cooks hard at work, being it was 7pm and quite busy. Our server did though kept pushing us to order food which we eventually had the charcuterie stater App. The Jalapeño sausage was quite good, but they give you more crackers/toast/salted almonds etc… then prosciutto and cheeses. Wasn’t really my cup of tea and not sure I’ll go back.
Liquid Assets is one of our "go to" places in OC. Their finely crafted cocktials compliment their very diverse menu selections. Many of their small plates are large enough for a full meal. They offer an extensive charcuterie menu as well as wine list. Grab a bite at the bar or snag a large table for your group. There is usually a wait for a table so get there early or late for the best chance.
Went with my family of 5 party and was seated immediately...eventhough they were busy....service was excellent...the food was thoughtful and delicious...we had the Pork belly poutine and the crab fried green tomato appetizers...for entrees we had the local flounder Rockefeller, Shrimp Risotto, Sirloin Steak on a warm corn salad....everything was FANTASTIC!....waitstaff went above and beyond to accommodate our party..drinks were great...this buisness really cares about their customers...I'm in AWE!
Nice place to go if your looking for a good wine. They have a large selection from different vineyards. The prices go from super cheap to really expensive.
Food was good, but the customer service was extremely unprofessional. Manager/owner was extremely rude. I tried to retrieve a bag a member of my party left only to be called a “smartass” and accused of trying to steal said bag. It was extremely disappointing to have this interaction, and the professional displayed was slim to none. I’m baffled that such a high class establishment exhibited such little professionalism.
This place is a hidden gem! We couldn't be more excited to find this place! It was literally an experience! And our waitress CINDY was the BEST server we could have on our first visit! She was so incredibly knowledgeable and patient with our questions and helping us pick a wonderful charcuterie board which all 4 of us loved!!! The dinners were also amazing! The atmosphere is great as well. We will be regulars for sure!
This is another Ocean City hidden gem! I would definitely come back! Loved the upscale dining experience, top notch service and unique atmosphere.Is much larger than online photos show. We went on a Saturday night without waiting.Food was outstanding. Huge portions. For just $12.50 you can order a small charcuterie/cheese board for yourself or to share. Full bar. Or, if you prefer, you may walk around liquor store and choose your own bottle of wine and bring back to your table. Pay price on bottle plus a $10 corking fee to have it with your meal.
Waygu burger was delicious. My wife had the mussels. The portion of mussels was HUGE for an appetizer. Cesar salad was excellent too and also was a very large portion. We avoided the dinner crowd and went for lunch. Very novel atmosphere. Would definitely go back.
Friendly bartenders who despite being busy, always checked to see how we were doing. Appetizers and food delicious and presentation was great
Just had dinner at Liquid Assets. This was an anniversary treat while camping on a rainy day so maybe my expectations were too high. Was disappointed. Had mussels- several dead- closed or cracked. The whole flavor was off as a result. Going back to our tent. All was not lost! Had a time beautiful kayaking after.
