Excellent dinner. Crabs were ready in 15 minutes after ordering. They were made fresh and came out hot. The wait staff were excellent and customer service was excellent. We did not have a wait to be seated even at the busiest time of the evening. I highly recommend this location if you are looking for great crabs in OC.
Really liked this place. Took family there this evening. Everything was delicious. Hush puppies are awesome. Cheeseburger was awesome. Great location, very friendly service, comfortable atmosphere, clean. you’ll spend some money but feel worth it. Server was Chanoknun and was great. I’ll definitely be going back.
Came in for the jumbo size Maryland Blue Crabs (reason of our trip) during the trip at OC, we also tried the fried clams and clam chowder soup which were okay. Nice outdoor seating and our server was friendly.
My family and I had a late lunch here. Good kids menu and excellent fish tacos and crab chowder. Not cheap but typical for seafood prices. We sat indoors and it was great, the server was friendly and quick.
First time going. Had a great time with my family there. Had a really nice and sweet waitress, Lauren K. She was always smiling, super polite, and had an amazing presence about her. Probably going to be one of our new favorite places when we visit. And everything was so good. Hush puppies, calamari, and all you can eat steamed crabs.
Excellent food, excellent staff, great service. Our waitress the first night who’s name I can’t remember was great and our waiter Todd tonight was also great. Highly recommend!
Higgins was ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. Worth every. Single. Penny. We were welcomed with smiles from everyone we passed. We got the “all you can eat snow crab legs” and could barely finish the first round of crab that came out! Fantastic service, our waitress was a total badass. Big party of 9 and she went about it as if it were a BREEZE for her. Every bite of food was delicious. And their drinks are DANGEROUSLY GOOD. No complaints here!
Higgins was the absolute best! We went to the one on 31st street and the service was just the best! We had our two young children with us and the waitress was extremely patient and helpful when it came to helping with them. The prices for crabs were fair compared to other places that we checked. Will definitely come back to this location!
Food was good. Server was wonderful. Ironically enough, the Black folks were seated in a centralized location until it seemed like they couldn't fit anymore ?. The one white family looked very uncomfortable and made an excuse to sit in a different area. Not sure why I'm surprised ??♀️. By the time we left the front of the restaurant was completely and I mean completely empty except for the area in which we were seated. And... I'll leave it at that.
Wanted to try something new and wasn’t very impressed… Tons of flies swarming around the food the entire time wasn’t very pleasant. Our app wasn’t put in but I think that was for the best lol. My bf crab cake was eh not the best but edible. I got the fish and chips and it was so rock hard it was barely edible. Wayyyyy too hard to even cut with a knife!! It tasted like it was frozen fish left underneath a heat lamp then thrown back into the fryer to warm it up but then was burnt.. Waitress was nice still tipped 20$ even though she forgot our appetizer. She offered to get me another fish but I didn’t think it would be worth the wait so we paid (full price) and left. Don’t recommend and won’t be back save your money.
