This place was poppin off at 8am, so get here early so you don’t have to wait! There is a parking lot and there is also parking down near by side streets. The portions were a nice size, and they kept the coffee coming. I had the crab cakeEggs Benedict, and it was legit. There is a good amount of seating, but again, it’s gets packedUp quickly.
The restaurant was nice and our waiter was great! The food was typical diner fair but the very berry pancakes were delicious, with the exception of the cheese just thrown on the eggs. I was however, very displeased with the hostess. This lady walked us all the way to the back of the restaurant pass quite few empty tables. My ire was up, why was this? I immediately felt uneasy when she sat us facing the bathroom. I was so upset but my friend convinced me to "just stay here". I could NOT enjoy my breakfast looking at all the people going in and out of the john . NOTE: If you are uncomfortable demand to be reseated ! I have learned my dining lesson that day
The food was ok. But not too many good options.. The staff was very slow. Kinda out of space and didnt seem to know much. Very strange and bizarre place!
Can I give 6 Stars? This one of those places that don’t look like much, but the breakfast be slamming! Ride by if you want, you missing out.When you get tired of that (little to no) hotel breakfast, Happy Jacks is the place to go.Hours - Be aware of the hours. I think when we were there Easter week, they close by 12 noon. So we got caught a few times taking our sweet time, to only realize they were closed upon arrival.Wait - The wait time in the off peak season is minimal (10 minutes), but from what I hear during peak season it’s Loooong.One seated, the service was quick. I’ve not been to a faster order and the food comes out restaurant. By the time the waitress walked away and went in the back, she was coming back out with our food. Technology (hand held order machine that goes straight to the cooks) at its finest.The food was great (pancakes, sweet potato pancakes, bacon ( no turkey bacon), eggs, potatoes, and coffee ( huge mug). They do offer a kids menu (MENU ATTACHED).They were able to accommodate a party of 10 behind and off to our side, without a problem.Service was phenomenal, professional, and world class. Definitely a spot I’ll return to.Besides dining room seating, they do have a counter up front.As you exit, they do have paraphernalia, yes we brought one of them huge coffee mugs ?.No shortage of staff or food here. There’s food, then there’s that hotel food/breakfast.Get there early, your in and out with the quickness.
Large portions, great food. Jenny was an excellent server and directed us to fun spots to visit on our trip.

I’ve been to Ocean City a million times and never stopped to eat at Happy Jacks. Yesterday me and my family had breakfast there and I don’t know why I didn’t go earlier! The food was amazing and the service was impeccable! Our waitress was Brittany and she made the experience so fun! She knows what she’s talking about and can crack a joke. Order the crab omelette! It’s crazy that is 20$ …with all that crab meat and shrimp it would be priced close to $ 40 anywhere else! My daughter got the peep cakes (seasonal special).Oh yea…we’re getting ready to go back and eat there again?☺️

My wife and I just visited your fine establishment and we were just floored by the great service. Our server Skylar M. was one the best we ever had. in fact all the servers sounded chipper and had smiles on their faces. Even the busser wished us a nice day as we were leaving. Your food was absolutely top notch as well. This will be our go to breakfast place everytime we return to Ocean City.
