We went to Guidos for dinner and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The decor and atmosphere were awesome, and the music was good without being too loud. We all got the birria tacos and they were absolutely incredible. Food came out fast and was hot, even the rice and beans were delicious, and I’m not normally a huge rice and beans person. We are considering making a second stop during our vacation and will definitely come back next year.
Good atmosphere. Music is too loud. Service is friendly and good. Prices are where the experience went downhill. It was nearly $25 for three mediocre tacos. My chicken burrito was $18 and the taste was forgettable. They also charge $6.99 for chips and salsa. Overall not bad. Just way too expensive and the music needs to be turned down. You can’t carry a conversation and the waiter won’t even hear you order.
Excitement for a family dinner turned into an extremely disappointing experience . Pricing is extremely high for non-authentic and dry Mexican cuisine. Had better experience in other OC restaurants.
Looked at their menu and the restaurant itself on their website beforehand and everything looked fantastic, so we headed over for dinner. Once inside, the menu given to us kind of looks like the menu online, but with several key dinner choices removed from the menu and everything on the menu presented inside the restaurant is priced way higher then their menu online. Having outdated and different menus on the website versus what you get in the restaurant itself is inexcusable in the restaurant industry. Having said that, the food itself was decent, but nothing above and beyond average whatsoever. Their salsa is extremely bland. Dinner cost over $90 bucks for three of us with one soda and one iced tea. No alcohol! This isn't a steak and chop house or a high end seafood restaurant! Pretty nice decor inside.
Went there today at 3:15.. only customers in the place. Happy hour is from 3-6 supposedly… no chips no salsa. I ordered the pork burrito.. had to pay $5 extra for the pork ❓❓. Linda ordered the nacho grande. Had to pay $5 extra for ground beef that tasted like Hormel chili… all I can say is “ never again”‼️‼️‼️
I have been craving homemade salsa since we arrived in Ocean city, we looked at a lot of different Mexican restaurants but all the reviews were pretty bad. We took a chance on this place and were NOT DISAPPOINTED! Best homemade chips and salsa I've ever had! And they gave us SO much for such a great price! We will be stopping for more before we head home!
Kamden (hope I’m spelling that right) was amazing! Super helpful and outgoing. This was our family’s first stop for vacation and we all loved it! Atmosphere is great. Very energetic and fun. The strawberry monster margarita (30oz) was a bit pricey but way worth it!
I had to leave a review because I just had the pulled pork taco entree with rice and beans and the tacos wrre probably the best tacos I’ve had in my life. Very impressed. Incredible flavor and beans and rice were very good as well. 10/10 would recommend the pulled pork tacos they were out of this world !
I looked at the reviews online and our experience was a summary of the high points in the reviews. I had the 3 enchiladas with Verde sauce and chicken. There was ample chicken, the Verde was good, and the cheese tasty as well as plentiful. However, there was a very small portion of rice that was a bit under cooked, and a small portion of black beans. All for $21.50 which was definitely over priced for the meal. I had the white sangria which was made with a cheap white wine and lacked flavor. We also ordered the chips and salsa for $5.50. The salsa was as reported very tasty. The score of 3 was aided by the enchiladas and salsa or it would have been a 2.
I love this place. I go whenever I am down. My boyfriend had never been and he loved it. The food is excellent, the prices are good and I love the atmosphere. The drinks are really good too. Their chips and salsa are the best. Both O.C. locations are great. Definitely try them when in O.C, you won't be disappointed!
