fun night hanging out with good food and excellent drinks. good vibes music and dj fun time dancing and singing to the tunes. calamari a bit greasy, pineapple shrimp excellent, ahi poke tacos great.
Great Atmosphere, beautiful weather and the food was very good. The loaded seafood baked potato is quite the meal by itself. The grilled seafood platter is enough for two.Will definitely be back!!
Great family friendly restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating. Playground in view of outdoor seats means your kids can play and you can enjoy your meal with your S.O. Food and service was all great. No complaints at all. P.S. I loved the Vasectomy drink ?.
They just want you to buy drinks here...they don't care about the food at all...our Thai Shrimp app was a frozen tasteless mess...the entree of Seafood Burrito was not good...wasn't seasoned at all....service was good, but not worth the $200 I spent there on nasty food
Awesome ambiance! Perfect restaurant to watch the sunset! Even though it was a full house and they were extremely busy... we were Seated right away at 9pm on a Wednesday. The waitress took our order right away and the food came out fast. Our 2 sides were coleslaw and cornbread.. they were our favorite things.. lol then we ordered calamari, frog legs, steamed clams, and Thai shrimp.. everything was ok.. the shrimp would’ve tasted better if it was served a lil warmer maybe it would’ve been crispier, but it was tasty! Frog legs were tender (would’ve liked a dash of old bay on them lol) but my hunny loved them dipped in their horse radish sauce.. calamari was also served with horseradish sauce..had a good flavor and it was crispy!
Worth the hour wait! Had an awesome time at the bar before our table was ready. Sitting by the ocean in a delightful chair watching the sunset, then sitting at our table with our feet in the sand.GO HERE! The experience itself is something you need to have when visiting OC :)(The Thai Shrimp app is awesome!!)
I’ve been visiting OCMD for 30 years and this was my first visit to Fish Tales and I wasn’t impressed. Our fish tacos were over cooked and very dry. Nothing fancy about the other food my party had. This is fast food at best
Sorry, no photos...food was too good and I was too hungry as usual! ? The fish and chips are delicious and the shrimp tacos are generous! The fish for the fish and chips is amazing! The French fries have changed a couple times that I've eaten at Fish Tales, but they have always been good even if just simply bagged/frozen fries. The shrimp tacos meal comes with two very large tacos with three Jumbo shrimp per taco. The only slightly weird thing is that it comes with tortilla chips but nothing to dip them into. They are just filler and don't serve much purpose. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive this last visit and the service is usually very good and faster than most! Fish Tales is a great spot and has a beautiful view of the bay with having your feet in the sand as you eat if you like (indoor seating is also available). I definitely recommend Fish Tales!
This place blew me away. I honestly thought it would suck, as it was rated 3 and a half stars, but my friends wanted to go, so I went ahead with it. Wow. Completely unexpected. My friends said their food wasn’t bad, a solid 7/10, I don’t remember what they got (sorry), but boy, I definitely remember what I got; the seafood burrito. Now, this is probably too expensive for most (it was the most expensive thing on the menu, and I felt like splurging a little), but its definitely worth it. The sauce, coupled with the fresh seafood, made it taste incredible. I would honestly come here multiple times just to eat this. I would give this place 5 stars just based off my food, but I of course had to take my friends opinions into account.
Great atmosphere being right on the water. The beer, very cold! Had the Tale Wrap (shrimp salad) and would have liked more Old Bay flavor. Everyone was extremely friendly and excellent service. Will definitely be back. ?
