Overrated Extremely way overpriced. Especially half price pasta night. Serving less than the size of a slice of pizza.amazing people fall for this. Doesn’t compare to Lombardis.
Congratulations for being as awesome as I remember! The scallops appetizer was perfect . Both hubby’s and my dinner were awesome! Thank you for continuing your level of excellence in these trying times! We will be back!
Italian restaurant that served the best Filet Mignon I have had. This includes steak houses. The server was absolutely charming and engaging. Service and wine was perfect. Irene actually made the experience so good that we went back the next evening and asked for her again. My wife had the Filet the second night and she thought the Filet was definitely one of the best she has had as well. The escargot and the scallop appetizers were out of this world. We will be going back when we go back to OC.
I have never eaten in an Italian restaurant that charges for grated cheese. We were a party of four. We asked for extra grated cheese to use in our oil, salad,soup and spaghetti. We were charged 4.50 for the cheese. Since when do restaurants charge for condiments. People beware look at your bill.
This is the type of place that if you don’t know the owner, you become invisible. We had a reservation made 2 weeks in advance for 7pm. While we were patiently waiting we watched multiple tables walk-in while the owner seated them before us. The hostess apologized and said there was absolutely nothing she could do. She was embarrassed and explained to us that he always does that. We weren’t seated till 7:45pm. It took over 25 minutes from when we were seated to have our ordered taken from the waiter and another 40 minutes before our food showed up. Service was terrible and the food was just ok. Very small portions and tasteless. There’s hundreds of restaurants in Ocean City and I highly recommend find any other one besides this one.
The food was excellent. Period. These folks know Italian food inside out... they actually cook with salt!!! The service was exceedingly slow, but I will say the cause is most likely short staffing currently plaguing the restaurant industry as a whole. Our server was as attentive as she could be given the number of tables she was taking care of. Overall a very good dining experiences.... we'll go again.
A touch if Italy in the states. Real Italian right down to the owner’s accent and jovial demeanor. They are never short staffed. This is fine ding and mot cheap, but very good

Amazing!! Outstanding!! I may have to make another trip to OC just for this amazing food!! It was only 2 of us abd we usually share 1 dish. But we ordered 3 meals bc we wanted to try several. And we took 2 back to our hotel!! WOW!!!
I will get right to the point. For a date, this place was perfect. The food was fantastic. The pasta was as good as I have had anywhere -- including Italy. The portions were more than reasonable, especially given the high quality. The look and feel of the interior was upscale enough to feel special (cf. date night), but not garish or pretentious. Even the music was in good taste. I'd come here again in a heart beat. As for the staff and service, it was also excellent. If they wanted to make this place total perfection, they might add some additional options for Italian-style vegetable dishes on the side. (There are never enough vegetables in American restaurants, so this is not to point fingers. It may also be a problem of availability of the appropriate vegetables that are fresh and in regular supply. )
