Waitress didn't even let me my wife and my 3 young kids sit down and get comfortable before we were approached with menus. She didn't introduce herself at all. Just set the menus down and said "what can I get you to drink?"Well it was our first time there, and we haven't even touched a menu yet and you're asking me what I want to drink. So to save time from looking at the menu I asked what they had to offer. She replies with "coke products and sweet tea"Now you heard me say I have 3 young kids sitting at the table with me right? My 2 year old does not drink coke or sweet tea. So I asked if they had lemonade. She said yes. I asked for 3. And a coke for myself. My wife was situating the youngest when it was her turn, being overwhelmed, she said nothing. I asked the waitress for a coke as she was pretty much running away from our table before my wife would finish what she was saying. Of course she didn't bring my wife a coke so we pretty much just got up and walked out.It was probably the worst greeting from a new restaurant that we have been to.And just a tip. Let the family get seated before approaching.
It was raining so we decided to eat in the hotel. After having to seat ourselves and get our own menus because no one was around, we waited about 20 minutes to order our food. There was only one guy in the whole restaurant including behind the bar. Got our food after another 20-30 minutes, then never saw the waiter again. No drink refills. My wife’s burger was undercooked, and they didn’t give us any silverware to eat with (probably because there was no one to seat us). Overpriced food, and the chips were definitely out of a bag…and stale. To top it off we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our check. $100 for 4 to eat, and none of us were happy.
Worst service I have ever received. There was 1 person working the entire restaurant - the food actually comes from the restaurant across the hall.We waited almost 20 minutes before even being asked what we wanted to drink - and then never received a refill afterwards.My burger was served cooked on 1 half and raw on the other.Then waited over 30 minutes to get a check.. Absolutely terrible.
Now this would be a management issue. The one lady bartender was on her own trying to serve all the customers. 1 bartender? On memorial weekend? She did well given the circumstance. She gets 5 stars, management just a smdh for them.
I went to Grand Hotel to vacation in Maryland for a week. The hotel was great, the cafe was great, the grand terrace was great, the bar not so much. The server wasn’t busy when I arrived, there was only two people in there. I ordered my food fast, waited about five minutes. My mozzarella sticks were cold, the marinara sauce was two chunks of tomatoes and the server charged me twice. Now since I’m back home and the transaction clears after five days, I have to dispute this double charge with the bank. I would go back to the hotel, but not to the bar.
More like an epic disaster. I got a burger it was completely raw and ended up giving me food poisoning. As well as some how i order a whisky sour twice and got charged two wildly different prices for it.
First time here. Ordered a beer and their Barbarian Pretzel, came with a cheese dip and a crab dip. This was so freaking good. Yummy ? ❤
Drink was all juice, hardly any alcohol. They are cheap on the alcohol and overpriced. Asked for a cheesesteak and it tasted and looked like the frozen steak slices with a slice of american cheese on top. It was nasty... And that was overpriced as well. About $17 for a cheese teak that wasn't even good. We had fried shrimp as well and that also tasted like frozen shrimp warmed up in the microwave. Never eating there again.
