Probably the best place to eat on the boardwalk. Clean. Good views, short waits, polite smiling staff. Consistent staff too. We were here a year ago and got the same waiter. James. Good waiter ask for him.We had a soup of the day a cauliflower crab curry soup. The Lemonade scallops, coastal salt roll, and oysters. Everything was on point.
Ok, let me start off with this, waiter was pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and from being from another country (Romania) spoke outstanding English! 2ndly the atmosphere was delightful, not overly done or too sensory overloading. Now for breakfast I never would have imagined eggs and seafood, but I thought "im at the beach in a place famous for crab, why the heck not give it a shot?" To my delightful suprise (king Neptune) the dish name- did not disappoint one bit, the dish exceeded my expectations by far! The flavor combination was bliss. And everything was perfectly cooked! I will absolutely return to this place the next time I'm in the area! I HIGHLY recommend this place, and particularly the dish I had (if your not allergic to crab)
We really enjoyed our meal at Coastal Salt. My wife enjoyed her Virgin Rasberry iced tea. We started with the seafood nachos, which were very unique and enjoyable. My mom ordered the filet mignon steak, I ordered the Jamaican chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the crab bisque. We all really enjoyed our meals. The only annoyance was the waitress. She was very forceful in trying to get us to order additional items and gave us some attitude for ordering waters and my wife ordering a soup as her meal. I understand waitresses are supposed to try to upsell but I’ve never had that much pressure put on me. She was very unprofessional.
Stopped by while enjoying the boardwalk in Ocean City. We were seated almost immediately and the proximity to the boardwalk is a plus. To start, we ordered the sweet summertime mule which was a great tasting cocktail. My partner had the coastal salt cocktail which he had to have remade because it was too watery. For starters, we had the coastal roll and the lobster mac n’ cheese, both of which were delicious. My sister ordered the shrimp cocktail which was just ok and only comes with 3 shrimp. As entrees, we had the Maryland crab cake which I did not really enjoy. Sister had the blackened fish tacos which was filling and also ok. Brother had the lobster roll which he enjoyed. Service was attentive and price was marked up as expected being an establishment on the boardwalk. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, the drinks and starters. Not so much with the entrees. Would try another place when we return to Ocean City.
I wasn't crazy about the banana bread. It's a little chewy and they have it a little too hot. I thought they were just going to grill it on both sides. The fruit it came with was good though. My fiance and stepdaughter said both of their breakfast we're good. They got The Betty, which was the combo meal.
Amazing food, amazing drinks (Bloody Marys to die for) and the best service. Our servers were the sweetest. They were able to get our table of 18 in for lunch and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly highly recommend!!!
This was a great choice while in OC on vacation! We ordered a spicy watermelon marg, the arancini appetizer, mahi imperial and bucatini entrees, and brownie sundae for dessert. Everything was amazing and presented beautifully. We enjoyed sitting outside and watching the ocean.

Between 16th and 17th St. On the Boardwalk, gem of a restaurant, near The Grand, Day's Inn, and Fish Tales Inn. Stopped in for breakfast and ordered the Shrimp and Grits. The grits were so creamy, best ever! Topped with perfectly grilled asparagus spears and a generous amount of shrimp with an awesome chorizo sauce, nicely spicy! Now I want to eat dinner here! Nice staff, great service!
Overall was a great experience. Our server was Olga, a really wonderful woman. She had a wonderful personality and catered to all of our needs professionally and promptly. Very straight forward and honest. Made the entire experience worth it! You can tell she’s one of the top servers there and i highly recommend requesting her specifically. She’s deserves it.Now for the food overall it was descent, I felt though for the image the place leads onto they could do a little. Maybe the breakfast crew lacks the ability compared to the level the night crew pushes out with excellence. Felt like I was just able to order only mom and pop diner food compared to a true fine dining choice at night. Overall I still highly recommend going back it is still a different experience than anywhere else I’m town. These people do actually care!
