Amazing drinks! Such nice service! We missed happy hour by 2 minutes and they still honored us!Great food options! So excited to come back for breakfast.
I enjoyed the experience of the bad monkey restaurant, and it’s understandable that it was a 45 minute wait considering that they are pretty well-known. They serve breakfast, which was pretty good and the drinks were original. I really enjoyed the monkey bread as most people probably do. I definitely recommend that you swing by if you’re close one.
We arrived at 8:15 for breakfast and were told the kitchen wasn’t ready to take our order yet so we got our coffee and the monkey bread, which is totally amazing. We orders eggs, (over medium) bacon and toast. The eggs were not made as we ordered them. The eggs were totally fried up , in fact they were burnt on the ends. The breakfast was very expensive and we found a restaurant a little further down the road with better food, prepared correctly and so much cheaper. We won’t be going back to the Bad Monkey anytime soon
We went on a Thursday morning around nine am and were seated in about 15 minutes. We were placing our order and the server said that the crepes, and anything with bananas or Nutella were not available! There were also no lids for takeaway cups. After spending $150 for breakfast for seven and not getting what you came there for, we won’t be back. Going there for breakfast was an OC tradition.
I don’t even know where to start with the food here. Let’s just say I left the place feeling sick to my stomach. I got the spinach feta and tomato omelette with a side of turkey sausage. As you can see in the picture, my omelette was runny not sure if it was fully cooked and the turkey sausage…. It was horrendous. The sausage was so dry and grainy and way over salted to the point that they were not edible. The only thing I enjoyed on my plate was the home fries and their fresh baked in house bread ( hence the 3 stars). Service was great our server was attentive and very nice. The outside seating was great also but the food was just not good. Would not come back.
Had a late lunch around 2p. Not busy at all. Server was nice. Food was tasty. Shrimp for the taco was over cooked, but tasted great. The burger was average. Not bad but not extraordinary.
Food was off the charts!! I'm ready to go back and try some other menu options. Definitely visiting next time I'm in OC. The waiter was a little off putting though. Very brash and short. Could have been something else going on there so I wont judge off him. The girl working the gift shop was cool and let us look around even though she was closed and we were able to make some purchases.
I ate here 2x in 1 day. Breakfast and Dinner . I couldn't praise this place any more. The food was Great, drinks were Awesome and the staff nothing short of Amazing! The atmosphere here is perfect! Waitresses were very attentive. Place was super clean. If I could give more stars than 5 I absolutely would. If you are in ocean city md please try this place out
The service was great and the food was excellent. The coffee was soooo good! Nice atmosphere; casual and comfortable. Would definite go here again. Also, fir breakfast we were given monkey bread as a starter. What can get better than that?
Great breakfast options, dog friendly, friendly service, good burgers, and great drinks. It has a fun vibe with embracing different themes. I went back twice in the same week long trip. They have a fun gift shop with shirts, stickers, and various other souvenirs.
