Next best thing to original tandoori chicken from India. Experience is similar, Great preparation, awesome staff & good service. What more can one ask for..Loved it!... Mmmm.
I love Sardi's every time I come to MD I grab an El Greco salad with chicken. Not grilled the actual roasted chicken with the spicy balsamic dressing. Just beware Fridays are really busy after school/work hours. So the ordering aspect was a little complicated unsatisfying but the line moved fast and the food was A1.
My wife and I met my Dad here for lunch about four years ago. I remember the food being real good. Tony, the manager, was extremely helpful in answering questions my wife and I had (as it was our first time there) and showing us how to navigate the line.
Worst Sardis I ever been too. Do no come here, they rude for no reason. Chicken was cold and they gave me small portions of sides barely filled up the side compartment. I called in asked for no green sauce and extra yellow and they charged me and gave me no sauce. NEVER AGAIN. Charged me 17.80 for this trash.
The food was good, and the lady at the register was very kind. But the young man that made my plate was rude. I could barely hear him respond to me with the plexiglass between us, so when I asked about a quesadilla and he responded with 25 minute wait, and then put my plate down and proceeded to take his break before ensuring he had the other components of my order, I knew I would likely not return. Then to make it worst, after I get all my items and walk towards the door with my son, he is walking out as well so I Hold the door for him and he walks out, never looks at me, and ignores me when I tell him “you’re welcome”. I will not return from the sheer treatment by this rude guy. Maybe there was a language disconnect, but he understood me just fine when I told him i wasn’t going to wait 25 minutes so I don’t think it was that. It was my first time and although the food was good, his service left a sour taste in my mouth. If you don’t care about customer service, def go here for a good meal. But for the whole package, choose another spot.
Unfortunately I tried the Power Bowl....my first time so maybe my inexperience influences my opinion. That said is the food supposed to be cold? I was told there would be a 20 minute wait for the order. Not sure exactly how long I waited but after getting in the vehicle I was riding in I noticed the chicken was hot, as if it was just cooked. It was the only thing hot though, the white rice with diced onions and tomatoes in it was not hot at all....I figured maybe because the onions and tomatoes cooled it down...the black beans that came with it were nowhere near hot. The corn was was not hot at all and appeared to be two different batches...some of the corn was bright vibrant yellow in color and the other corn was a dull yellow color, it seemed like a fresh batch of corn was mixed with an old one. Gave an out of the can vibe to the corn and beans.... Again, my inexperience might be the problem, maybe my expectations of what the meal would be versus what it actually should be just don't match up.. I'm not sure. I was concerned that the food in my opinion didn't seem to be at a food safe temperature. My coworker commented yeah if you can hold your hand under that container like that then that food ain't hot enough...he noticed that 8waa was holding it flat on the palm of my hand. If I'm in error about the Power Bowl let me know.Also the restaurant, bathroom and drink station were all clean.
Hello, I’ve been ordering DoorDash from Sardis. Recently I’ve been noticing that my food has been misunderstood. I’m getting wrong sizes in my order. I went personally to Sardis and I was ordering my food in the line and I noticed that when the old lady was taking my order she was being distracted with her work friends. For example she acted like she didn’t know what she was doing, and like she didn’t understand and gave me wrong order as well, as the packaging has been horrible. Also, I’ve noticed that she’ll be there on the mornings and they keep changing employees from the line. This is another reason why I wouldn’t consider returning back.
Great food and prices! I tried Dark meat 1/2 chicken! My favorite sauces are red sauce (rojo) and the green color (Salsa verde). Overall 10/10

This is not a review of the food at this location. But last time I was here watched an employee drop a whole bunch of plastic containers in the parking lot. I know he saw them drop on the ground and just said "eff it" and went inside. I was waiting in the car a little while to see if they would pick any of them up. They didn't. I picked up a few but the vast majority were left to blow around the parking lot.
