When in Maryland you have to eat crab, right? We lucked out when we found the Red Crab House. My son got the boil which was full of juicy meaty crab legs and a very spicy and delicious sauce. It was messy but delicious. I had crab cakes that were made exactly how I like them. Plenty of tender meat and crunchy outside. We liked it so much we went twice in the same weekend! And got the same items! The first time we had a lovely efficient and personable server named Asiah. The second server was not as pleasant but got the job done. Great find!
Food was phenomenal. Staff was very friendly. Our waitress was amazing. Highly recommend.
We ordered the combo $51 came with 2 lobster tails, 1lb crawfish and 1lb shrimp. Everything was good except the crawfish was not really bad.
I went during lunch time, the service was fast and our waitress/bartender Bre was on top of it! I have visited this establishment plenty of times in the past, and the service level is consistent.
My friends and I were visiting the area, and this place was recommend. It did not disappoint, customer service was great. Being that it was our first time there we had so many questions. Overall, everything turned out very good.
Waited for ten minutes at front before I was served. The Waiter walked me to my seat with an attitude then threw the menu on the table as if he was upset with his life an job. I did nothing to this man but ask for a table for me my mother an son. I waited another 20 minutes at the table then decided to leave when the server never came back an no one checked on us even though there were plenty people working an other tables were being served. Before I walked out another random waitress asked me if I was served an I replied no...she asked what she could do to make it right but I was already fed up with the horrible service so I left an went to olive garden across the street.
I had made my own combo and man. The Cajun seasoning and garlic butter was a match made in heaven! I'm from GA and fresh seafood is not easy to find there but the seafood here in MD is so good and fresh. They didn't overcook anything. It was a good experience. ?
Very nice place, delicious food, good customer service and great experience!!??
Nice crab shack in the Laurel area. I love the variety of seafood available to order - fried fish, clams, mussels, crab legs, lobster tails, fried calamari. I wish they had fried clams! :)Well-seasoned, very tasty. I loved the idea of having a selection of seasonings that varied by spiciness. I enjoyed my meal, but I wished my clams were a little bigger, and I wished my potatoes and corn on the cob were a little larger and crispier. Felt and tasted a little on the soggy side. But it was still good as ever and I'd definitely return for more!
Growing up in the south, I really miss and crave these types of seafood boil. This is a place to get down and dirty with eating. You do however get bibs and gloves since it can get quite messy. It’s a casual dining restaurant with flavorful seafood!
