This was one of the best Popeyes chicken meals I've ever had and I've been eating it for several decades. The chicken was extremely fresh and very hot, must have just come out of the grease. The biscuit was perfect and the regular side of red beans and rice, all those somewhat small, was very tasty. The pieces seem to be a little bit bigger than they normally are for chicken size pieces that Popeyes but that's another positive.
Ordered a 12 piece family meal. Asked for white meat spicy / dark meat mild. Got home to 9 pieces of dark meat and four pieces of white meat. Definitely not what I expected. Called the store and they wanted me to come all the way back, so they could make it right. I’ll be going back tomorrow. They could have gotten it right the first time. Sorry for the bad review but this could have been easily a avoided. Thanks!
WORST POPEYES LOCATION EVER!! ASSOCIATES LIE SAYING THEY ARE A MANAGER WHENEVER PRESENTED WITH AN ISSUE & THEN NEVER OFFER A SOLUTION, THEN ARE UNWILLING TO HELP RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. THE CORPORATE LINE IS NO BETTER & HAS EQUALLY RUDE, INCOMPETENT, UNPROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES!! As much money that is spent at this franchise by all, I’m appalled with the lack of customer care given.Calvin in guest services is one of the MOST DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL individuals that I have dealt with in a long time! He had the audacity to disconnect my call due to the fact that I asked for a supervisor/manger immediately or for their individual contact info when I was informed that I could not obtain immediate confirmation of my refund for food not received, but marked ‘delivered’ through the app.Additionally, employee Teresa (whom identified herself as the manager on duty) at the Baltimore Ave, Laurel, MD location provides the same type of unhelpful, unprofessional service when contacted about the order that wasn’t received. All she continued to say is that the delivery service needed to be contacted although the order was placed through the app & was still at the restaurant upon contact.THIS LOCATION NEEDS A MAJOR ASSESSMENT OF THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & LACK OF MANAGEMENT SUPPORT ASAP!
Been going regularly. Last time something was off. The chicken didn't taste properly seasoned and rice and beans tasted old... Could just be a 1 time thing
Stopped for a quick bite at Popeyes and the drive thru was a mile long. So decided to go inside. Service was brisk inside. Tenders were nice and fresh and the chicken sandwich was hot and delicious. Employees working were friendly and helpful and had me in and out in just a minute or two. Recommended.
Worst drive thru. 4 young people at drive through doesn’t listen to your order and even after I had him repeat my order 3 times they still got my order wrong. They didn’t even pay attention when I asked for condiments at the window. I called the manager after I got home and told her how they messed my order up but only thing she said is that we can put you in our book to get you a free meal. A free meal does not do me any good when I sat in the drive thru line and wanted to eat my food now not tomorrow when it is correct. Go inside and check your food at this place because they have young people working there that doesn’t care.
Service was poor to say the least. 10 people working but still a LONG wait to be served.The young man behind the counter forced me to raise my voice at him as after two times I asked him to speak up, I got frustrated. Sad. Just said. Poor service n so long just to get some good chicken.I will not be back to this location soon, thank you.
If I could give this location a negative zero I would. I ordered a 8 piece SPICY mix, I received a COLD mixture of whatever the hell they felt like putting in the box. I ordered a side of mash potatoes and received a handful of COLD fries they looked as if they were swept from the floor and thrown in the bag, (but I guess they figured it was a "potato" right?) This is the SECOND time I have been disappointed from this location, they need to FIRE management and get it together. Don't go here!!!!
Well to blunt, always food is great, but comparing the year's dining at Popeye's, the service has tremendously declined, realize there overwhelmed with the ordering of lazy people who have services delivering food, but UR in A PR business and customer relations is #1, rudeness and bein ignored just doesn't fly, and as me and my wife stood there, I and her, plus the couple B4 us received the same treatment, like we were invisible, we were floored, it's just SAD!
Stay away! Order incorrect, check before leaving the drive-thru…food is bland.
