This was my 1st time here. The food was just ok to me. It's very spicy and you get a sizeable amount. I did enjoy the sweet potato cheesecake & the banana pudding cake ?. So IF I ever go back, that's all I would order. I gave 3⭐️'s for cake & atmosphere. My niece ordered the oxtails & said it was ok
We met here for lunch today. Everyone enjoyed their food and the service. One co-worker said that his pork ribs were just OK, and I agree. I ordered them to go and requested extra sauce. However, my ribs had a very thin layer of sauce, and they were spicy. My co-worker said his pork ribs were spicy too. He did not want his spinach; my spinach and rice and beans were still good the next day. Those who had burgers, enjoyed them. I also enjoyed my fried fish tacos. My Coconut & Walnut cake did not have enough cake, though it was tasty. It seemed to be mostly the whipped cream topping. My Jamaican fruit cake was moist and sweet. They have 3 stalls in the rest room; one is handicap accessible. They also have outdoor dining, and they have added an extension which looks like a potential conference hall or venue for private parties.
I went in for a takeout of the Breaking Bad Burger. After waiting roughly 35 minutes for my burger, I was not disappointed. The burger as a whole was very juicy and flavorful. I selected this item because the shrimp intrigued me, and it was the shrimp that was the best part . The atmosphere seemed very lively even at 8 pm when I entered. I would definitely recommend sitting down to eat here with family and friends. Not the best option for takeout because burgers do tend to take long.
Did not know this Caribbean themed restaurant existed so close to me. Great service, fantastic food, and great outdoor area with fans! Met one of managers Danielle Hastings and she was so friendly and chill telling us we have to come back for Sunday brunch which is a WHOLE experience apparently with music and everything.I am very picky about my island food and the jerk chicken lunch was very good. My friend had a curry shrimp and she loved it too. Will definitely be back! If you want to check out Caribbean cuisine ( and other stuff too) I highly recommend.
I had been eyeing this place for a while and I’ve heard lots of good things, my wife and I finally had an opportunity to decide for ourselves. Very busy restaurant for a week night, we chose to dine inside which was lively and the music was slightly louder than expected but the musics volume was about the only thing I would have changed about the entire evening. We started off with the Crab and Artichoke Dip, SO GOOD and a great combo of two standard apps. I got the Pineapple Ginger drink which was refreshing followed by a local beer (of which they had a good selection). My wife got the Oxtail entree (which is one of their most popular). Very large portion and she loved it, I had the leftovers the next day for lunch and I agree, tasty. I had the Jerk Chicken wrap which was sliced great. Sweet potato fries on the side with honey mustard sauce, yum!! We grabbed a sliced of Banana Pudding Cake (I think that was the name) to go for a nightcap at home as we were stuffed. The waitresses name slips my mind right now but she was great also, not too invasive but attentive, answered questions we had as first timers etc. Cant wait to go back ?
Flavorful, zesty, divine. Bryan J was an awesome server. The Morning Joe burger was an excellent choice as medium rare, the jerk chicken was definitely seasoned to perfection, the Mary Berry drink was sweet for a hot summer day. well done!
AMAZING!! My husband and I were in the area visiting my brother and his family and came here for lunch. The food here was nothing short of amazing. Our server, Takeiya, provided excellent customer service and made sure we were well taken care of. I strongly recommend the pulled jerk chicken wrap with the specialty hot sauce on the side. I can't wait to visit again in the future.
Great happy hour spot in the area. Came here recently with some friends. We ordered everything from their brussels sprouts, burger, jerk chicken quesadilla, sliders and jerk wings. Anything on the menu that includes the word jerk highly recommend ordering. Mild for my spice level, but we all loved the seasoning. The wings were seasoned, fried and cooked perfectly. The drink menu is extensive as well with cocktails, beers, and wine included. Loved the vibes here. If you like music and crowds this is your spot. The bar and indoor dining area was completely full. Luckily, we found seats outside. I'll definitely be back to order more Caribbean dishes.
Ordered 2 Caesar salads with anchovy dressing for $14 apiece. Also ordered the sweet potato cheesecake with sweet cream. Got 2 half salads with sprinkle cheese and no dressing. They didn’t even bother to send the sweet potato cheesecake. The great reviews are why we chose to order from them. Needless to say say, this is unacceptable and we will not be ordering from them again.
Answering the telephone. I was looking for vegetarian stew and unable to find it on the menu. I called and was placed on hold in mid afternoon and left there for more than 15 minutes. If this is how they treat customers who plan to spend there money in their establishment...I will spend my money elsewhere.
