First time here, initially I was impressed with the selection and amount of food available. We got here at 2:30pm and did not realize there was a price difference between Lunch and Dinner time (it’s a 3$ difference.) around 3:15 my mom grabbed 1 crab as her final treat. The waitress then came over out of nowhere and said that Crabs are only ONE per person and she can’t get anymore…. I was like W T F ….. my mom wasn’t bothered as she only wanted one anyway… but I was getting HOT. LolLater there was a family behind us that showed up and the same waitress started yelling at them for getting too much seafood, and the manager also came over and started yelling at them saying they need to pay more.It was disturbing to see the employees yelling and causing a scene. They were extremely disrespectful to their customers and it ruined our family outing.The manager not only charged these people more money, they also took the plates of Seafood from them.I’m not saying this was racially motivated, but it was interesting to see them haggle a non English speaking family vs. Seeing Asian families around us pile their plates up with Crabs and other seafood itemsCustomer service here is a 0 , the food wasn’t seasoned the best anyway, I give that a 2/5.Just another typical bland buffet and This clearly IS NOT an all you can eat Buffet, they’re watching you!!!
Omg! I had not been since before the pandemic. Very clean restaurant, well staffed & so friendly & polite. Such a variety of foods for everyone's pallette. Seafood bar was amazing. Fried chicken was cooked perfectly. Everything was absolutely delicious. There was only one thing that I would change. The barbecue ribs should have been cut in portions. They had the full rack & it was very difficult to cut just enough for an individual portion. I felt like I was sawing a log. I actually gave up & move on to something else. I know that I wasn't the only one that had difficulty, bec I observe a man actually carving off the rib like I would be carving a ham. I was impressed with my Pepsi, because most places this beverage is watered down. Not here, I love a strong robust flavor of Pepsi to end my meal. I wish this restaurant much success, because good food is the way to bring people together. I was with a group of 40 people, we had our own section and we all enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to visiting again when we're in the area.
I read the 4-5 star reviews before coming here and I feel lied to. I should’ve known by the dirty carpet and tables that this was not a good place to eat. Most of the plates and bowls were dirty, I found hair in my salmon, and all of the food was cold and stale as if it had been left out all day. None of the people handling the food wore hair nets or gloves even though many of them had long hair. I wish I had spent my $15 literally anywhere else. Never again!!
Worst buffet ever. Manager only cares about money! Don't ask for anything because they won't help you! The food is done their way not the normal way. Take crawfish! They put this sauce on top that is not good and when it asked for some to be steamed the manager so no!! They boil the crabs instead of steaming them so when you break them open there is no meat! There was what was called steak but it was a huge mound of fat!! Horrible place and staff
The cut off time for lunch is clearly stated at 3pm. However twice i have been pressured to pay for dinner while i came to lunch at 2:30pm due to heavy amount of work that i couldn't take lunch break earlier. I have only 30 minutes for lunch so i have to finish my lunch before 3pm anyway. This is practice from the restaurant management is very disturbing and clearly illegal.
Very good for the price. Many varieties of food including but not limited to seafood salad desserts soul food a taco station soup and an ice cream machine. Some food was room temperature but still good. They even had real wasabi! I highly recommend. I only took a photo of my first plate and forgot the others.
We love this place and eat here weekly. They are so friendly and the food is always top notch. Never have had an issue and always clean and safe. You won’t leave hungry!
I little more than I'm used to paying, but the food was fresh as it gets. I was there from 745p to 845p, and the food was great. Waitress was very attentive. Note: You must pay before you sit down.
Not clean and food is very bad quality. Not only was the food cold but if you cut open a piece of chicken ( orange chicken, for example), it will have a foul smell.I suppose it’s a decent price but I think it was a hefty price considering that all the food is refrigerated and reheated for a larger profit. All together, very disappointed.
I love this place! My husband isn’t the biggest fan of venturing out to a buffet but whenever I suggest Grand E Buffet, he grabs his car keys. Their food is so fresh & they have a huge variety to choose from. When a dish is close to empty, they keep a close watch and a new batch is placed within moments. The staff are quick to clear your used plates and pay attention when your drinks are low. You’ll never be thirsty. They offer a “take out” service when you fill a to go container and pay per weight.Honestly this is one of our favorite spots any day of the week. My husband is in love with their short ribs and once I tried them, it’s a staple on my plate. The lo mein is so good. Their crab Rangoon are the absolute best. They have the perfect texture and don’t have an overpowering flavor. They have the combination just right. I also like that they offer duck sauce in individual packets. And their fish is tender and tastes like homemade with excellent seasoning and flavor. I recommend basically every option they have.It’s a popular place so don’t be surprised if the tables are full. It’s affordable for the selection and the service. I can’t wait to go back again. Everything tastes amazing and there’s no doubt you’ll find something you like. My husband loves to finish his meal with their soft service ice cream which is always a treat. Definitely a great choice.
