In reading the latest reviews I dived in to taking a chance. I'm from Philly so there are couple things that I look out for in a cheese steak type sandwich.I loved the crab cheese steak. It's really a cheese steak hoagie, but I really was impressed. It was more than enough flavorful crabmeat. The cheese is simular the cheese whiz. Which is a "Philly thing" on cheese steaks but I prefer Provolone or American. The roll is what was the final determining factor. It was very simular to the famous Philly Chesse Steak Amoroso Rolls.The fries were great too. Just enough Ol' Bay. I little pricey but it was definitely worth it. I will be back soon.
I LOVE CASEY'S !!!!! I am a super fan of their crab cheesesteak. I came all the way from NJ and my first stop as soon as I reached MD was here. So excited I left my car keys in the restaurant lol. I ordered a cheesesteak with everything (cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried french onions) Y U M!!!!!!! With a side of fries. Crab overload in the sandwich and nice & hot fresh cut fries to top it off. Sat outside of the restaurant and devoured my sammich. I'm telling you guys ... GO TRY !!!!!
Amazing. Chose the $38 platter. Scallops, Shrimp, Crab Cake, 2 sides Hush Puppies & slaw. Large portions, and all delicious, extremely delicious. Slaw was just a little bland & boring, but who cares right.Oh, forgot to mention how down home, and friendly they are. I was visiting from KY, and the owner shared his Preakness picks with me. I think (hope) he may have won with Early Voting. Hope to see "ya'll" again soon! We were so comfortable, and relaxed eating outside on the picnic table. Loved it.
Seriously - best crab cakes - ever. We have had homemade crab cakes which are seriously amazing - but these are still the best!A MUST- end stop. Get the crab cakes.
Delicious food! Steamed shrimp seasoned perfectly. The crab cake and crab cake good too.
Went for my first time last weekend. Ordered XL male crabs, shrimp, oyster po boy and french fries. The crabs were huge. Can only eat about 1.5-2 at a time because you get full. The shrimp and fries were yummy. The seafood all gets better as the days go on. The oyster po boy was good but it needs more seasoning and the oysters weren't fried all the way through. I eat raw oysters so that didn't bother me but just in case you don't like raw oysters ask them to be cooked well done. I would definitely go back.
Native to the area, the only place I will come to is Casey’s. When I have a strong craving for crab…but hate all the picking I will go here to see if they have any crab claws. Sometimes they don’t and I’m ok with that…but when they do??!!?? THEY TREAT ME WELL!!! The XL larges are amazing as well when I’m in the mood for the cleaning and picking. Been coming here for the past 10 years. Couldn’t imagine going anyplace else!
I happened to stumble across this place on my way home from DC to PA. I was looking for a quick bite to eat, and pulled into their parking lot. Their crab cheesesteak was outstanding, and the service was great. I will definitely stop back next time I’m in the area.

I heard Maryland is known for having the best seafood in America! This place is one of them that provides that. CASEY’S is know for having the famous Crab Meat Cheesesteaks, Yes!The decor is rustic yet navel, so cute. I even love that for each order of steamed seafood they open the side door & they are cooked In these huge metal Steam Drums letting let out whole heap of steam when it’s done. So this is a MUST SEE!I ordered my food To-Go. The service was quick and staff were pleasant & it smelled delicious.When I got home, boy oh boy! My steamed shrimp was cooked to perfection & flavorful. My food was so good I was licking the shells.When in Maryland GO HERE!
