I loooooove cakes plus although I don’t eat there often. This is why it was so excited and delighted when my husband walked in the door with cupcakes. But, to my surprise he brought chocolate on chocolate. No doubt moist and good they aren’t by favorite. I love the vanilla and chocolate.Without any hesitation the manager Linda offered to replace my cupcakes. She suggested that I give the chocolate on chocolate to a neighbor or friend bc they.couldn’t take them back. The entire conversation was spoken with a tone that matched the sweetness of these delicious cupcakes. Linda is an asset to Cakes Plus, and I am a forever loyal customer.Thank you again Linda and God Bless You !!!!
I absolutely love my cake. I tried them out per my friend’s suggestion & I am so happy I did. Their customer service is amazing I had an issue come up where I wouldn’t be able to pick the order up at the time I selected and the change was very last minute on my part. They worked with me and I was able to get the order as I would rather come to pick it up as soon as they open versus canceling the order. Great place more than likely will be my new cake & cupcake destination.
This bakery has thee best cakes/cupcakes! We had a party on Saturday where the cupcakes were made by Cakes Plus. I have been waiting to go pick up a cake when they open again on Tuesday for my family. The cake recipe is amazing but the icing is literally the icing on the cake!! It’s not too sweet and the flavors of the two together are to die for! For my own events, I don’t think I’d buy a cake from elsewhere again. You get what you pay for and it’s worth every cent!! GREAT job!!! I will see you all tomorrow ?

Where do I begin??I cannot believe I've lived in Laurel for so long, seen this place many times and didnt realize I was missing out..until I needed a cake for a gender reveal..We got a red velvet with butter icing cake..It was scrumptious..super moist, even 4 days later it was still moist.. everyone was asking us where we got it and wanted the address.. My sister in law said it reminded her of what cake used to really taste like growing up.The people are so kind and sweet and service was absolutely amazing. Now everytime we pass by, my husband wants to go in for a cupcake ?♀️We cannot wait for our baby shower cake, cos we are coming back here..So so tasty

I love Cakes Plus. They are always consistent. The cakes/cupcakes taste and look great. They recently did a sheet cake for my niece's Clue themed 16th birthday party. I dealt with several of the employees while placing the order and they were all superb. I also had several changes which they accommodated with no problem. Teresa suggested doing an icing print of the game on the cake since I was on a budget. It worked out beautifully and everyone loved it.
I ordered a custom cake from Cakes Plus for my dads 60th birthday party. I specifically asked for a carved 6 and 0. I even emailed cakes plus examples of what I wanted just to be clear. When I picked up the cake I was extremely disappointed. The cake was NOT what I asked and paid for. The green and white cake is what Cakes Plus made and the blue and white is an example of what I wanted. In addition, they spelled my dads name wrong. Thankfully they were able to fix that while I waited. The lady that worked there did take $60 off my remaining balance but it still did not make up for the dissatisfaction. This is my first and LAST time ordering anything from cakes plus in Laurel.
