I am so disappointed and upset that I wasted my money on this food. This is my second time ordering from here and the first time it was so good I switched meals with my wife because the two meals we ordered were so flavorful and delicious. I had to indulge in both!I ordered the same meals tonight and I’m appalled that they would even sell this and have it delivered. I ordered curry snapper and brown stem snapper. There is no flavor and the sauces for both are so watery it’s a shame.
So disappointed I ordered roti and the level of upset I am that I waste my money is another level. No one and I mean no one put spring beans and cabbage in shrimp roti. Please look up the recipe and it’s doesn’t even taste curry. Roti is curry not sauté. It have potatoes in it please look up recipe. I should have just made it myself.
I love the location in district heights so when I saw the had a nearby location I visited. Same great food and amazing staff
Order food last night was not good the brown stew chicken had regular brown gravy and the fish had too much vinegar and hot spices with no taste. They need to do a better job on their food.
Very professional staff clean and friendly environment and the food is exceptional I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good Caribbean food
If u are going to have nasty food at least have a good attitude. I guess thats asking too much. The rice is stale and everything is too sweet

So I ordered a combo oxtail and curry goat which was $27. They literally gave me 4 pieces of each and 90% rice and veggies in the bowl. I go back and talk to them about it and the big bald cook wants to 1.tell me to put in a mask (which i had on the first time and i understand the regulations so i had no problem wearing one but he wasn’t wearing one either?? And he’s the cook??) 2. He gives me an attitude and tries to be condescending because I’m unhappy with my order. I didn’t even want a refund but after dealing with him I just asked for my money back, which he was also getting upset about. You could’ve just given me a couple more pieces but instead you threw out the entree and gave me a refund so you ended up losing MORE money.The female cashier was really polite and helpful the whole time though. The food is not even worth the price. They need to do better overall but as A Jamaican, i know how cheap we can be but as a business, they need to watch how they treat their customers and also give us what we pay for.Then I went to Jamaican country kitchen (picture below) AND THEY HOOKED ME UP! $20 for LARGE! And the cashiers were sweet !
I ordered a large stew chicken today. Today was one of those days in which, a good home cooked Jamaica meal would have been highlight of my day. Unfortunately what I received was the exact opposite of any meal that envisioned.For starters the cabbage was so watery that it cause the entire meal to be thrown off due to its moister and texture. Secondly, the rice tasted spoiled and took on the flavor of the watery cabbage that was already ill seasoned. Finally the chicken tasted as if it was boiled in reuse pan water and serve over an already pitiful bed of watery cabbage and rice.There is much more I could say but i think this should work well enough.Also one more thing , when I asked for a cup of gravy I was give attitude just to be give them same flavorless sauce that my chicken was cooked in.
I spend lots of money into this business. The store in landover md they customer service skills is very mediocre. from the 2 bold head bude to the fat lady on the back. i wont spend one more dollar into this place
