My sisters and I enjoyed the food and ambiance at BusBoys and Poets in Maryland. I would love to go back during a special event or open mic.

My niece picked the place. We were celebrating her birthday so she said Busboys and Poets. She ordered the Fried Catfish, my son the Western Omelette, and I ordered the Cubano Panini.I'm going to begin by saying it was busy. The only order that came out correctly was mine. My son asked for no mushrooms in his omelette, my niece asked to substitute grits with the sweet potato fries. Just say that it took a while for my son's omelette to be prepared properly is a understatement. It was to the point where I told him just pick them out if you can and eat around it.We all tasted the others food, but no one wanted to touch that panini (we will get back to that in a few).I'm from the south. Grits was never intended to have anything hot in it. So it wasn't to my liking. My son's home fries were delicious so I know he absolutely loved those. My tomato soup was pretty good but I did not enjoy the panini. I believe it may have been the dijonnaise taste that just didn't suit me.I will wholeheartedly admit that our waitress was very accommodating and she understood that two of the orders came out incorrect. When she noticed that I hadn't eaten a majority of my sandwich she asked me if there was anything she could do. At this point I just wanted to pay and be done with the experience.I have been to Busboys and Poets before, so maybe I should have stuck with what I ate the first time because this was very disappointing. For the price point it should always be perfect. This is not a cheap meal place at a drive thru. This is a you should get what you pay for place.I think it'll be a few months before we even attempt to eat here again and I'll stick with the salmon the next time.

Great atmosphere and no wait on a Saturday during lunchtime. The salmon melted in my mouth and the beer was good.

Really good food. Service was a bit slow. Good beer list but they only had two in stock.

What can I say? Busboys and poets never seems to disappoint that’s the reason I’m always going here. This week we tried the Crab Cakes- 2 crab cakes, broccolini, remoulade sauce as well as the Oaxaca Omelette(pronounced: wa-haw-kah) w/ organic eggs, black beans, cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole. Both meals were delicious!

I have eaten here before. Never disappointed. First review for this location. Great variety of choices on the menu for most people’s diets. Helpful and friendly staff. The book selection is always current and reflects a diverse group of writers and readers. Our lunch was delicious and the portions were large. Great meal and visit at this location.

This is the 4th busboys location I’ve been to. Definitely up to par with my other experiences! Food was delicious and service was good. Great place for friends, couples, families!!

Great food and service. Visit on a Sunday afternoon and was pretty busy but fast service. I loved my food and the atmophere.

My husband and I took some young cousins at the university out for Sunday brunch this was a perfect spot to catch up on family news and ensure the kids were getting a good meal (with leftovers for another meal). My only complaint is attempting to secure a table on Yelp because it doesn’t allow you to put in your name on the day prior. We arrived early and thankfully had no problem getting a table.

I came here for lunch today and the service was pretty good. I ordered take out. I ordered a bus boys burger with fries it came to be about $12 with out the tip. The fries were cold and not good. I ordered my burger to be medium well but it was extra dry, I was so hungry I had to use allot of ketchup. I also found a piece of plastic I first thought it was like that film from the onions but it was plastic, green looking plastic. I’ve gotten a grill chicken sandwich from here before and that was a 5/5 but today I was very dissatisfying with the food.
