amazing food and prices, always a nice place to go

I’ve been working at Valley Mall Diner since February. I have to say I love everything about this place. From the food and it’s quality to the owners. My boss always looks out for the guests and the employees. Some of the best people I’ve ever worked for. The kitchen staff is super CLEAN and truly care about the guests satisfaction and safety. I ate here quite often before I ever became and employee. Their food and atmosphere is what brought me on board and I’ve been in fine dining since a teenager. Highly recommend!

I stopped at the Valley Mall Diner while driving south on 81 and had one of the best Maryland Crabcaje sandwiches I have ever had. It was literally perfect.

This was our first time here and it was absolutely delish! The tossed salads were so crisp and fresh, the mashed potatoes were fresh, not from a box and everything else was sooooo good! Our server Patty was amazing! Very attentive and always came to our table with a smile! Definitely coming back!

the staff and service is very good

Food is good, staff is friendly. Weekends are busier, so wait times are much longer. We always order their Mozzarella Sticks & I love their salads, very big and filling! We had a server named Tammy today, she was great!

This is what a great American diner should be like! Great service (thank you Lisa), amazing food, and just a great family home cooked meal experience. BTW … burgers are amazing, and big! Worth stoping by travelling along the I-81!See you guys soon.

Food much better than expected from a diner. I think it's in an old restaurant building because it's not set up like a diner but rather like a sports bar. Waitresses are nice and I was asked by several different people if I had everything I needed.

I will not blame this establishment for lack of items available. We all know supply is an issue at the moment. However the food was terrible. Our steaks were ordered med and were extremely rare. Our waitress was even grossed out. Sent back due to the bloody deep red purple coldness and they came back well done. The hollandaise sauce was sour of lemon not butter. The fried potatoes had a heavy oil taste. We have had great food in years past, but this was awful. A $40 breakfast for 2 and nothing was ok except the coffee. We won't be back.

Off the highway but not the easiest to get to if you're not familiar with the area. Front of building was damaged, looks like by a car. Not their fault but does make the front unappealing. Didn't walk around but from where we were everything looked clean. Food was tasty, correct and the portions were on the larger side. The price is a little high for diner food, but not so high we wouldn't go back. They do have a dessert case, didn't get anything but a few options for those with a sweet tooth. Also have a full service bar.
