Placed order only for it to be canceled when it was supposed to be arriving. Every time I try to eat here, it’s closed or the order is canceled. Place is probably a front because they apparently don’t want business.

We ate there once before, and it was pleasant so we wanted to go again. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. However, this second time we were disappointed. The little boy who sat us tried twice to get the attention of the waitresses to help us, but they ignored him. Finally, the bartender saw this and stepped in to help. We got there around 5:30pm and it was almost 7 by the time we received our food, which we ordered to be packed up to-go. I will say our waitress acknowledged we had been waiting a while and without us saying anything, said she would be removing our dessert and drinks from the bill. She also explained that for some reason the computer hadn’t transferred our order to the kitchen but that they were making it right away. However when she came back a couple minutes later, she said that turns out they had made the food but that they had left it to the side and they’d already prepared our bill so they wouldn’t be discounting anything. Finally, when I drove home (an hour away) and checked the bags I realized that I was also missing food.I really wanted this to be a new meeting spot for my friends and I—but I ended up hungry and paying for things I didn’t even get. I understand everyone has bad days but when it comes down to it, I don’t want to only have a 50% chance of having a good experience.

Ordered two tacos, one Carnitas and one Al Pastor. When I received them I thought they must have gotten the order wrong because there was only one small container. To my surprise, I opened the container and found two of the tiniest tacos I've ever seen. Mexican is my favorite and I've eaten it regularly at many different places around the country for many years. I've never seen tacos this small. It looked like a miniature shell that would have been a great idea for a kid's menu item. I literally ate the first taco in 2 bites without stuffing my mouth full.As for quality, the shells were soggy and limp and completely falling apart. The meat was not bad, but not great and not very well seasoned but somewhat bland. First trip here and no reason to go back. Shame because it's close to work.

I usually never complain. My husband is a manager at a Mexican restaurant and we know how hard it can be. But this was ridiculous! Me and my family went there, a family of 5, there was no one in the restaurant, and she refused to seat us because she said there were too many of us. I understand that, but we were going to follow any rules but She was very extremely rude! We decided to just leave.

I don’t think this restaurant follows Covid guidelines. When we sat down our table was filthy and there were little bugs flying around. Then we noticed a bucket of ice was sitting out in the open and they were using that for the drinks instead of the ice machine. Also there were people walking around the restaurant without a mask on. One of the waitresses did not have her mask on properly as well. The whole vibe gave me anxiety. I got my food and took it to go. Also we received our food with no napkins or forks or anything to eat with. Ohh and the menus were dirty as well. This is really unacceptable...Hopefully some improvements can be made. On the other hand the food was amazing!

You guys need to work on customer service. Don't tell a customer they are wrong when they are right and no one wants to see you guys arguing with each other.

Food was excellent

If get to Hagerstown and looking for decent place to eat, Salsa Mama Cantina is not a bad place. It is located in the heart of the historic area of town with big inside and some outside seating (appropriate for COVID-19 accommodation. The food is OK (typical Tex Mex), service is as good as you can expect with only two staff manning the who place. They are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The place looks like it will be vibrant with no COVID pandemic. I would not mind having lunch there again to see that atmosphere.
