Riks is amazing. They have the most delicious food. The staff is always delightful and attentive. Their desserts are to die for.
We had an excellent dinner at Rik’s. We should have made a reservation because the place was packed, but we got a high top at the bar. Service was super friendly and portions were generous. We loved it. Don’t let the exterior fool you.
As someone else wrote- don't be scared away from the outside and adjacent businesses. Great service- pretty busy, and excellent food from their short but diverse menu. We chose the meat and cheese plate appetizer and it was delightful. The Habenero Mango mussels & Shrimp looked fascinating. BUT, they also have daily specials listed on their frequently updated Facebook page. We opted to share one of those - Mahi filet with seared scallops on parmesan risotto with fried brussel sprouts and lemon sauce. It was Great! So glad we found this gem instead of one of the chain places which saturate this area.

This looks like a bar when you enter but the food is phenomenal. Portions were more than I should have eaten but I couldn't just leave the rest. Staff is super professional and friendly. Loved my experience!

Oh Wow! Hubby and I had a great meal!I had the Ariks crab cake grilled cheese with sweet potato fries (with apple butter (whhhhat?!)) Omg that was so good! I had never thought of apple butter as a dipping sauce! I also had an apple cider Manhattan (that was super good too!)Hubby had the Reuben with Sourdough instead of marble Rye (I had a bite of it too!) Omg that was delicious!Our server (Brian...I'm pretty sure) super nice and knowledgeable.The only thing I thought was a bit weird was when I was waiting for the bathroom (the person who came out was a man, who worked there). That's kind of weird.Overall great time tho! We will be back!
From being in a shopping center you wouldn’t expect much, but don’t let the look deceive you! Rik’s is one if not the best restaurant in Hagerstown. From the amazing food and the polished pro servers, this makes Rik’s easily one of the best
We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Rik’s. The service was great, the menu was diverse and the cocktails and meal delicious. We will return when we’re back in the area.
We have always been happy when choosing Rik's when friends/family visit or we're feeling like something a little more upscale, but don't want to travel far. Seating has not been an issue, but always a good idea to call ahead on Fridays and Saturdays. Drinks have been good too.
