Thank you for taking care of my allergy, says a lot about the quality of staff and management.
Red Robin is a well-established elevated burger chain that also sells quite a few other meal items if burgers aren't your thing. I'd say that one goes to Red Robin if one expects consistent food and consistent service. Just a given. So how would a Red Robin completely ruin what otherwise should be a decent dining experience? Bullets follow.- despite many open tables visible from the lobby area, my group of 5 was waiting in the lobby area for at least half an hour- after asking if we could sit in the bar area by putting some tables together, which the staff were fine with, we received menus and... nothing else. No one ever came to our table as we sat there.- One of my colleagues walked to the bartender and asked who was the wait staff for our tables/areas. He was informed that she (the bartender was) but seemed disengaged.- we ended up waiting another 15 minutes after my colleague talked to the bartender for anyone to come take our order, but when no one came still, we ended up leaving.
There always seems to be a wait when going to Red Robin. Went there last Saturday for lunch and of course, there is a 20-30 min wait yet the whole middle section of their dining room was not being used. My daughter got a cheese pizza kids meal with a root beer float. She was given just the root beer soda with ice, had to ask for the ice cream. When they brought our food, her pizza was burnt, gave my dad my moms sandwich and never returned with hers or the pizza I asked them to remake. My sandwich bun was ice cold as well as my son’s. We decided to not eat and leave. The mgr did comp our whole meal but VERY disappointing quality of food and service.
Good burgers and fries. Been a while since we ate there. Amazed at the crew...1 took order, 1 delivered drinks and 1 delivered food. Very efficient. Don't remember that being the system last time we visited. Impressed.
We thought we would grab a bite to eat after coming from Whitetail Ski Resort. The mall was pretty busy and sure enough when we arrived, we were informed of a 45 min wait. We witnessed a lot of families come in and leave as the wait grew to an hour plus for those coming in after us. It was apparent the staff was short staffed as there were open tables in all of the rooms. The food came pretty quickly once we did order, and it was an ok meal. Our waitress was great even though we could tell she was a bit stressed. A little disappointed in the double Tavern Burger as it was not as big as pictured on the menu.
Got a seat immediately on a Friday night. It was only 5:30 but the place was already pretty busy. The server was with us very quickly for drink and appetizer orders. I've only had burgers are Red Robin before but tried the grilled chicken sandwich on this trip and it was delicious. Overall a good dinner experience.
I will say it was better than I expected. I went to take my brother inlaw and his fiance to dinner they loved it ate and it was good food the only I mean only down side was the drinks and fries. It was really hard to get refills the poor girl at the bar was slammed but several wait staff passed us so I didn't understand why.

The fries weren't fresh. They were luke warm and kind of chewy. The chicken tenders used to be good but they're horrible now. We did have a good server.
