Very friendly, attentive waitress, pretty sure she said her name was Bobbi, and we never had to try to get her attention … filled cups when they needed filled, checked if we need anything at the right times. And then the food. Totally worth the money, ignore any reviews that say otherwise. My bacon wrapped filet could have been cut with a fork, and the prime rib was perfect in every way!
Had a group of 9 at 6pm on a Tuesday. I did not make a reservation. My mistake. We were seated and and ordered drinks. Shortly after, we ordered our meals. After a bit (~15 minutes) the pre meal salads (3) and soup (1) came out. Some 30 minutes later, our food finally arrived. Some of our friends, who have been here often, mentioned it was the longest they've had to wait for food. No explanation from the server, no anything. When it came time for the bill, a 20% gratuity had been automatically added. I asked to have it removed for slow service. I also wanted to add a tip I felt to be more appropriate. When the server returned after having run the payment, she threw the folder down on the table and walked away. At this point, the tip became 0. When I tried explaining it to her, she became upset and told me her service was fine and no one else in the group complained. I told her she didn't hear the conversation at the table where just about everyone was asking where the food was. She told me she doesn't cook, so it's not her fault. I was also told the next time I have a party of 11 that I should make a reservation because they were short-staffed. It is not okay to treat a customer like that. When I go to a restaurant, I tip for the whole experience. Was the food timely? Was the server attentive? Was the food tasty and prepared properly? As a customer, it's my right to decide how I want to tip and how much. I routinely leave 20%+ tips because I believe that's what is warranted.
We were there Fri Feb 11th. The valentine's menu was very tempting. Everything was was sooooo good. Food, service and atmosphere all in get 5 stars in my book. It was nice to see them busy and everyone working together to make it happen.
The atmosphere was very nice. Food was not the greatest. Steak was tough and without flavor. Tasted almost like liver. Prices are a little high also for our area.
We had a party of more than 12. Waitresses were very nice. My Reuben sandwich was average, appetizers were good.
I had an enjoyable lunch here. The fish and chips were average, the wait staff friendly, the atmosphere welcoming.
Great atmosphere, spacious, delicious food, probably the best burger I had over the last two years, definitely recommend, fast service and reasonable pricing.
Very friendly staff, food is amazing love the beer list. Very nice variety!
I enjoy going to Hoffman’s for lunch during the work week. It’s a great place for a business meal or a celebration lunch with friends. Their service is fast and food is great. They have the best American food in the area.
I will not go back. First time here and everything started great. Server was friendly and we were joking about some things. Food was good. Bill came and saw that overcharged. I looked at the menu online and found I was right and what was overcharged for was not listed on the menu. I asked the server about and she suddenly got an attitude and said yes it is on the menu and walked away while i was talking. I walked to hostess stand and spoke with the female employee. She looked at menu and said I was right. She had printed out menus that day and cut off the section where they charge for extra toppings. Nothing was done to make up for their mistake or being overcharged. I didnt appreciate the servers attitude and acting like I was wrong when restaurant mistake.
