My 5 Star is for the experience we had with BJ after the initial service we had.We were sat and then ignored for 15 minutes, when we were served my order was completely wrong.After the rest of our group arrived BJ took care of us and her service was great. She had a great attitude and was very attentive to our group. This being our first year having a show in the area it was great to find someone we can ask for again!
Prefer over IHOP for breakfast. All meals are good.
I do like Dennys and their food typically. My most recent visit was on 4/3/22 during brunch hours. The wait for food was a little bit long but I don't usually worry about that much. Things happen. My concern was the ants that were all over the wall along the edge of the booths table. Many times we had to kill them as they found their way into the table as well.
We had a chorizo skillet and zesty nachos. Quite delicious and filling! That says a lot from us picky eaters! The server was friendly and the chef was really accommodating!
This is the second time in a row we came down here and nobody even looked at us. We must've been there over 20 minutes. We walked out. After standing there so long we decided to sit and wait. Some people came in behind us and they got served right away. We'll never go back there. We went to the Hagerstown family diner. That's better. Way better. We actually got service.
I don't know what has happened to Denny's but that was NOT how I remembered it. The server herself was the ONLY good thing about this visit. The food was cold, I had hair in my food, the food made wrong and had to wait for it to be remade, the server was the only server working.... the whole experience minus that with the server sucked! I will not be going back anytime soon nor would I feed my dog the food we received tonight... if I had a dog.
We Order the zesty nachos and they could have used more meat.They are seemed to be more pico de gallo on it than anything. The waiter was very nice I asked for more sour cream and he brought it with no problem. He checked back on his frequently to see if we needed anything. They Cash register did not accept a Visa debit card. But other than that we had a very good .
I will say that this visit was extremely good. Not in the sense of a 5 * restaurant but it was definitely what we wanted. However our previous visit was extremely bad. Me and my fiancé only went to give them a final chance and they knocked it out the park this time. Both with the food and with the service. So we'll definitely go back again. Its Denny's, it can be great, but it's definitely iffy.
Kathleen S is a terrible server, couldn't wait to just take our food order and go on break to not have to deal with us. The food was great just the server could have been well not that server. Anyone could have done a better job. Didn't even stick around to get refills. Great food but one bad server. :(
Covid hasn't been kind to this location, under staffed servers and kitchen. Raw food came out, was given attitude when asking to recook it. Manager took 20% off check, two people left hungry.
