What an incredible experience! The service, atmosphere and food were all amazing! Grill your own food on your own personal rock! Absolutely incredible.
Great experience for our first time! Service was amazing, food was amazing, large portions and the food was very fresh. My 12 yr old loved that he could grill his own steak on the black stone. Highly recommend.
I got the 12 Oz sirloin, please know that the place is called black rock because the plate they serve the steak on, is a literal black rock, heated to 750 degrees!, you want rare steak, flip the steak from one side to the other, put is aside, put the butter on the rock, repeat the heat and flip process for the steak, then take it off, finished cooking in less than 30 seconds! Depending on whether you want rare, medium rare, or well done! Place is great, you don't like the rare? Cut off a piece and put it back on the rock for another 2 second! lol I loved it!
We were excited to try it. It sounded like a fun experience. And they had a happy hour! Drinks were fine-draft beer & a house margarita. Bartender was personable. We started with soup. Maybe I’m a French Onion Soup snob. What I love about a good French onion is the rich broth with real onions, some bread floated in with a nice slice of cheese on top that is browned & bubbly, dripping over the crock that’s too hot to handle. Sadly- it wasn’t that. The stock seemed like it was from a dry bouillon base although there were real onions in it. And unfortunately the cheese slice was laid on top and not melted but rather soft and sweating. It hadn’t been put under any flame or broiler. And as a result, was tepid. The lobster bisque was tasty with a nice amount of lobster meat. We had picked out what we wanted for dinner-a burger with onion rings and a 6 oz sirloin and 3 jumbo shrimp with asparagus & a baked potato. We told the bartender we were ready to order. Folded the menus and placed them in front of us to await giving our order. We waited. We again told him whenever he was able to, we were ready to order. He acknowledged and was finishing up making drinks then we waited again. We caught his attention for the 3rd time, and still, he never came to take our order so we decided the writing was on the wall. And we left without dinner and went back home. Very bizarre
This is such an amazing place to go and eat dinner with friends and family. Service was top notch and atmosphere was excellent.

Food is great! Nice atmosphere, the hot rocks are alittle scary! But a fun night out.
Our first visit to the restaurant. Aurora, our waitress was so helpful. She helped us through the courses. She showed us how to use our rock , kept our drinks full and was available for any suggestions. Two couples and 3 of us got the steak. Delicious. I also got the shrimp which was great. The French onion soup was so good, The topper was the volcano brownie. It was fun and tasty ! Highly recommend the restaurant and Aurora. Great waitress!!!
The service and the environment were good! The truffle fries are the best! Been here several times
Arrived at 4 which was an hour earlier then our reservation. And was told if we came back in 20 minutes we would be able to be seated. Returned at 4:30 and was told we had to wait till our 5 reservation. Once we finally got seated we had Sarah L. as our server and she was amazing at her job. They had a valentines special running for $80 per couple. And she did an amazing job at making sure we always had our next course on time but not making us feel rushed. Food was very good. Definitely will be returning and recommending despite the miscommunication about the reservation
