Everything was outstanding!
I can't even joke with you about this. The food GOOD. I'm talking good-good. They take their time in the kitchen to prepare good food....for regular people like me.The beverage options...sensational.The service...better than Chick-Fi-La.If you go there, don't go with any tight fitted clothes on... because they will make sure you eat good.
Good chicken flautas. Carne asada chalupas were very good. Flan was okay, but not my favorite.
Good Lord, these tacos are so good! Very unassuming place from the outside but don't be fooled, this place is legit. Great food and portion sizes. Fresh and delicious. Did I mention they're friendly and that they keep their kitchen practically spotless? I only wish they had more space to dine-in. ?
The lengua tacos were delicious and well cooked. The carne enchilada was so well seasoned and had the right amount of depth to it's flavor.
A few weeks ago we stopped close to closing, so we got some takeout tacos and decided the menu looked promising. The tacos were pretty good. The carne asada was lean, fairly tender and well seasoned….and the pork “al pastor” was tender and lean. The portions and salsas were A+.Tonight we returned for dinner. The place is small and reminiscent of those “hole in the wall” places we love so much. However, we did not love the food we ordered.I had the “milanesa” (breaded beef cutlet). The portion was generous and looked appetizing but lacked flavor.I always appreciate when a dish is served with rice and beans….here, they also included a grilled nopal (cactus), grilled pepper & grilled onion! Plus, a little salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, radish). The rice & beans were pretty good…but I would have preferred refried beans. (didn’t know to ask).My husband ordered the tostadas. We were surprised that they use diced chicken (shredded would have been more authentic)…and avocado would have been a great topping.Would not order the milanesa or tostadas again…but will likely come back for tacos!PS The flan was very disappointing. It was NOT rich and creamy…more like the texture and consistency of gelatin (or something water-based).
Our meal and cost was $22 for 3 tacos, chips and salsa, and a $5.99 chicken quesadilla with fries (kid's menu!)Meat is a little dry, but great flavor (like cinnamon in the chorizo) and it comes with two spicy salsas to doctor them up.Surprisingly not greasy for street style tacos too!
Great customer service! Very helpful for my 1st time at this establishment. I ordered to take out, when I reached home my food was still hot. I ordered myself a burrito a three tacos. Beef chicken and pork to test my odds. It was very delicious well flavorful.
Al pastor torta was wonderful. Creamy avocado and super flavorful meat went incredibly well with the warm bread
The food was delightful! We went in to place our order and then stepped outside to wait (per posted sign). We were told it would be about 15 minutes. After no more than 10 minutes the kind lady actually carried our food out to us. These ladies went above and beyond! We will absolutely return.
