excelente ambiente y buen servicio

I went in to get tacos on yesterday. The skinny older spanish man was so rude to me and he also charged me extra just because of my etchnicity. How can you be in business in a metropolitan area and be prejudiced towards any ethnic group of people. This is not my first encounter with this rude misfit. I will go there again because this is totally uncalled for. I will also be reporting this place to health department for various inappropriate reasons. While cooking ,the same area men were working in the cealing over food cooking uncovered. This place needs an attitude adjustment big time. Also they threw my food ,the rice and beans together sloppy, very sloppy in the container. Beans were spilled all outside of its container

Excellent cuisine, great atmosphere, pleasant staff, and great music !

La Trampita is a small Tex-Mex restaurant attached to Blas Supermarket. While the food is very good, there is no atmosphere to it. The indoor dining area is stark with plain walls and dimly lit; more suited to a night club than a restaurant. It actually reminded me of any number of small restaurants I've eaten at in South America. Its patrons appeared to be exclusively Latino. It's probably best suited for carryout. We ate outdoors under a large tent set up due to COVID restrictions. Mexican music was playing over a large speaker. I had the carne asada platter while my wife had a pork platter. Both platters were very good, freshly prepared, and very authentic. Unlike most restaurants that over season their food with salt, this was not the case at La Trampita. There's a limited selection of soft drinks and beer. Drinks come in bottle so there are no free refills. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I do feel the prices were a little high compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area that actually have an atmosphere. In addition to the restaurant, there is also a food truck where one can get walk-up carryout too.

Good place
