La Trampita is a small Tex-Mex restaurant attached to Blas Supermarket. While the food is very good, there is no atmosphere to it. It actually reminded me of any number of small restaurants I've eaten at in South America. Its patrons appeared to be exclusively Latino. It's probably best suited for carryout. We ate outdoors under a large tent set up due to COVID restrictions. Mexican music was playing over a large speaker. I had the carne asada platter while my wife had a pork platter. Both platters were very good, freshly prepared, and very authentic. Unlike most restaurants that over season their food with salt, this was not the case at La Trampita. There's a limited selection of soft drinks and beer. Drinks come in bottle so there are no free refills. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I do feel the prices were a little high compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area that actually have an atmosphere.
