This is an authentic Korean restaurant! They bring out awesome side dishes to start the meal. I love the Seafood Pancake, Spicy Pork and the Kimchee soup!
Lovely place and staff. Galbi, soups, japchae were great. Not crazy about the teokbokki. Disturbingly, a big burly douche started yelling at the wait staff mid dinner, basically didn't want to pay and causing a scene. I felt terrible for the ladies who were being yelled at by this jagoff. They handled it well though. Police came, made him pay for his meal, escorted him out. Left them a big tip to help cheer the staff up as they really deserved so much better treatment and respect. Food, service was lovely, and all other customers were very appreciative. We'll be back for sure.
The food is absolutely incredibly. This restaurant is as authentic as it gets. I love how friendly all the employees are. The restaurant is very clean and the music is just right. They have a huge party room in the back for bigger groups as well. Perfect place for any family gathering. :))
The food was nice .. But forcing customers to pay minimum 20% of tip is very bad … Dont demand people for tip … If we feel we will give .. Even we are working like you guys ..
love this place. friendly server, great food. worth the hour + drive.
if i could give a few more stars, it would be done.some of my favorite korean food outside my own kitchen!the portions are very generous and tasty banchan, also some of the best restaurant kimchi in the area.the staff is attentive and kind. it's a good atmosphere for enjoying delicious food.
This place is the absolute best Korean-Chinese restaurant within 50 miles. The service is great. The waitresses are friendly. The dishes are authentic. It really gives you a sense of family. If I could eat here every other day I would. Never a feel of ‘too crowded’ because of the layout. Always a welcoming smile.
Amazing service and authentic Korean food. The portions are huge and super tasty. The price is super reasonable. All the ladies were super nice and helpful when you need a recommendation.
I have always had great Korean food there and waitresses were always friendly...
Overall a good experience.Came by because of the good reviews, but this place has been a Korean-style Chinese food restaurant since the 1980’s (different ownership, obviously), but it now serves Korean food as well. For those unfamiliar, Korean-style Chinese food is different from American-style Chinese food. Korean-style is less greasy and more flavorful and definitely better for your health in terms of having less fat and sugar, and the “hot” spices are Korean-based versus Chinese. You won’t find too much chili oil or intense Chinese spices used here, which was a plus in my book.Had both the black bean paste noodles (jjang myeon) and the white broth jjamppong. Both were authentic and delicious, without too much additives that can upset the stomach. The paste and broth were well-balanced and the noodles were perfectly cooked with the right thickness and texture. The ingredients were fresh - vegetables and seafood - and the lunch portion was very generous. The servers were friendly yet not too bothering. They answered questions politely, took the order without a hitch, and the food came out relatively quickly and hot. And whenever we asked for more side dishes and water, we didn’t have to wait long.Definitely worth a try.
