We had been meaning to try this place for a few weeks and finally had the opportunity. I love Cajun spiced food and my wife being a lifetime Marylander was skeptical of the seafood boil, as opposed to steamed. Our server Dimitri was awesome and explained the whole process and his recommendations were spot on. The food (we chose crab legs, lobster tail, shrimp, and mussels) was the perfect temperature and the sauce was amazing. I highly recommend adding the extra sausage, corn and potatoes. I barely had room for cheesecake but it was worth it. Great experience from the food to the staff - if you are unsure about how to make your selections for a boil, Dimitri will not steer you wrong.
Came here for the first time and the food was exceptional! The staff was very welcoming and friendly and made the experience even better! Dimitri is the person to come and see when you dine in here!! His positive, friendly and humorous attitude elevated my experience here! If I could give him better than a 5 star review I would!! He is the reason I will keep coming back!! He made the whole experience so amazing! This will be my new go to weekend hangout spot now! 10/10 experience!
It was over priced for the “nasty” food. I’ve never been here and will not go back. The service was great, I went to a friends of family 97th birthday. I bought the flounder basket with sweet potato fries and my mom ordered the crab cake basket with fries. The flounder was 4 very small pieces and the sweet potato fries were overcooked. The “so called “ crab cakes looked more like pancakes and the fries tasted “old” . You couldn’t even taste any crab in the cakes, just bread crumbs and seasoning. We were with a large crowd which mostly ordered the steam bowls and they were all pleased with food. So, if you want to waste some time and have money to waste I’d recommend the steam bowls. Oh and I forgot to mention the prices. #OverPriced #SuckyFood

My husband and I had an amazing lunch at Hook & Reel! The hostess was very courteous and helpful! They have a full bar! I had the watermelon tini and it was delicious ($6)! The food was wonderful (we had the Cajun Combo Boil) and our server, Xiomara, was THE BEST!!! We will definitely be back!
We had a great experience there. We sat at the bar and received wonderful service from the bartender/waiter. The crab balls were delicious! We also go the seafood spaghetti and fried shrimp basket. Thank you!

Went for Valentine’s date with my boyfriend last night. They were very busy and made sure to attend to us and let us know they cared about us. Our waiter Demetri was amazing, so down to earth. The food was absolutely amazing, hot and fresh. This will be our new spot !! Reasonably priced as i got the mini boil an finished it all ! Was my first time & we were very pleased. Can’t wait to come back
Oh wow! A great experience all the way around. From the greeter to the hostess and manager. All were very pleasant with great customer service skills. I would definitely come back to this location and ask for Angie. She was attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Btw, the overhead music was great ? the place was clean and orderly. Definitely a well ran workplace!
