Wife and I stopped by for a late lunch, again. Wife had a cheese burger and fries, while I had my favorite Cobb salad with avocado. James was our server and he did an excellent job. Very courteous and attentive. Restaurant was clean. Unusual for us but we ordered dessert, an apple crumble topped with rich vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. I was delicious! Definitely will be back. I couldn't help but to watch some of the TV screens. Fox News was a winner, CNN not so much.
Great food. Good service. And it’s open late. I really like this glory days. The last visit I got the cheesesteak and the $6.99 apps after 9. Love the pretzel and the shrimp for the deal price.
I ordered steak off of gluten free menu. A salad and potatoes are included on menu. Got my order without potatoes. Had to correct this. When my check came they charged me for salad and a dollar more for meal than what was written on menu. Told waiter and he realized I didn't get gluten free and when he came back from trying to get my tab corrected, he said manager said that meals were the same price but the menu have it different. I can't believe after giving me a non gluten free meal they would not correct everything!!!
We started with onion rings with remoulade sauce and BBQ wings for an appetizer and they were both delicious. For our entrees we had a cheesteak with fries, and the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. By far my favorite fries in the area, they were incredible. All the food was really good!! I highly recommend visiting this place. You won't be disappointed.
I was disappointed with the service, the food and the drinks. Two of three dishes were wrong with one of them overcooked. The service left trash and dishes on our table the entire time cluttering the tabletop, in addition to messing up the simple order we reviewed three times. The margarita was mostly ice. I drank it fast to see if it was strong and it was not. I will not be back as there was nothing worth coming back for.
I have Celiacs Disease and highly allergic to wheat and Gluten. This is the only restaurant that I feel 100% eating. I trust my waitress/waiter to make sure the cook understands and I think the cook goes above and beyond to make sure I am safe. I ate there on 1/11/2022 and had a waiter named Ryan S. and he was awesome. I am always hesitant to ask for Mayo anywhere bc of cross contamination. I asked my waiter for Mayo and he brought out the squeeze bottle to my table!!! This was awesome, no cross contamination. I let him know how much I appreciated his help and asked to speak to the manager. I explained to the manager how detailed this young man was and I always eat there bc I feel safe. She told me Ryan S was a new employee. Everyone has always been awesome but I will be asking for Ryan S as my server next time I go!
This place has great food, and I have had two good service experiences here (around July/Aug 2020 when restaurants in MD reopened). I am extremely disappointed in the service the two times I've come to dine in. But this last Saturday, was my final straw. My fiancé and I were seated quickly, however, after about a half hour to 45 mins, nobody talked to us, not even for our drink orders. I would've been less peeved if someone said they were "short staffed and we'll be right with you"; we would've understood. We had our menus closed in front of us after 15 mins to signal that we were set and ready to order. However, we were completely ignored the WHOLE time. There were surrounding tables being served and waited on by multiple servers, multiple times. Many of them had been served their food when we first sat down, and as we waited, we watched them fully finish their meals and pay for their checks to leave, as my fiancé and I were still not talked to by ANYONE. We tried waving down people, but no one looked at us. I don't think I've ever been straight up neglected at a restaurant before and I've never had to get up and walk out the way we did Saturday. The experience before this one was less than stellar as well -- the food came out after about 40mins and the server wasn't attentive at all. I remember they stated that they were out of forks, and that I would need to wait even longer to eat my dinner placed in front of me. We don't plan on coming back, which is a shame, we really enjoy the food. The service needs to be improved.
This place has great food, but I am extremely disappointed in the service tonight. I have had wonderful servers before but tonight was a different story. We had a waiter, didn't take our order for nearly 20 minutes, did not refill our drinks one time, and sat around with the rest of the staff fooling around for the entire duration of our meal instead of being attentive to his only table. I don't mind the staff having fun, but this was the worst waiter I've probably ever had and it felt like a disappointing experience. It might have just been because it was nearing closing time, so I do not hold it against him too much. That being said, I have also had extremely pleasant waiters and waitresses here before and the chefs never seem to fall short.
Nice sports bar type restaurant. My hamburger was a little overdone in places. Everyone else's food looked really good. The strawberry lemonade was super strawberry flavored. They played a lot of Springsteen songs while we were there.
Food was great. Prices reasonable. I would have gave 5 stars but they don't carry JIM BEAM! Only Jim Beam Stag. Jim Beam Stag and Coke just didn't cut it. Who doesn't carry JIM BEAM?
