We ordered from here all the time, but unfortunately they stopped delivering and make you use a delivery service like door dash. So we found a different Chinese delivery restaurant down the street we go to now. Bring back delivery!!!!! :)
Chinese food is Chinese food to me, it’s all pretty similar and good tasting. However; This place tasted like there food was old and reheated. Everything was mushy and questionable. Had to go 20 minutes out of the way to return the food and the lady was very rude over the phone making excuses for everything. Not sure if they’re just having an off day or if this is always but i will not be a returning customer.
Overpriced and absolutely not impressed. Lost my business forever the 1st time I tried them. I ordered vegetable fried rice and all it came with is onion and broccoli no carrots no peas no water chestnut or baby corns not even fried egg apparently that's extra and when I call to tell them about my very disappointing meal they offered me no coupon basically hung up on me. The point of vegetable fried rice is that you get a ton of vegetables you're not eating meat it's not costing you to give me chicken or beef or pork what the hell you couldn't even throw in some peas and carrots this place sucks do not order from them. 0 stars not even 1 star.
The food is typically pretty good and they have quick service. There's been one or two hiccups closer to when they're about to close, so I wouldn't suggest waiting until the last half hour before closing to order because that's when they rush the food. The fried rice may end up more like the white rice with a little flavor. Overall, not bad!
This spot is a hidden gem, at least to me. I've been coming here for take out since I moved to MD 8 years ago and don't recall getting Chinese take out from any other location in my locus. It's not the highest quality Chinese food but it's good for me. They're nestled within an "L" shaped shopping center that is terribly overcrowded, especially having a gas station adjacent to it and parking is rarely possible in front of the shop but I can still park somewhere within about 45 yards. The folks working get right on your order and always within 10 minutes. Call ahead and pick it up! Give it a shot!
I used go here about once a week for their chicken & broccoli lunch. Last time I ordered over the phone to pick up, they literally hung up on me before I finished ordering. Then were even more rude when I picked up, like I was bothering them. No food is good enough to make up for that. It won't be hard to find something better. Don't waste your time or money.
Update January 2021: The food here is still usually quite good, although there have been a few occasions where it has been below average. By that I mean the meat entrees are way too sweet, and the sauce sometimes overcooked. But the rice and eggrolls have remained consistently good. So still a good spot for Chinese carryout. Not sure why they don't appear on Google Maps without searching by name though. They probably could have more business and maybe get better...Good Chinese carryout in Severn. They have the typical carryout menu items at the usual price points, but do a better than average job of preparing them. Portion sizes are generous. Their default fried rice that comes with all the combos comes with bean sprouts, onions and plenty of roast pork... Unlike many other places that give you plain fried rice and reserve the extra ingredients for the rice entrees. Flavors are good and online ordering offers a plethora of customization options such as four levels of spiciness and about half a dozen sauce options. My favourite choice is to get light sauce, which basically comes out as a glaze so your rice and vegetables don't get drowned in sauce.Service is always quick, even when they are busy. We like to order online and pick up rather than wait on delivery. Especially in the winter, as they don't seem to provide heating in the pick-up area. Otherwise, bring a coat!I recommend the various noodle entrees here, especially the Mai Fun. It has a nice smokey flavor, lots of I ingredients mixed in with the noodles, and the box is densely packed giving you a good bang for the buck.Definitely recommended for Chinese carryout in the Severn area.
Food is some how bearable but horrible customer service, the lady at front is super rude, and I assure that she will destroy your name and customers, if you let someone else take over the front counter things will be much more perfect and you might have more chances of getting your business boomed.
Good food
I go for the dumplings. I eat them fried and steamed. They are traditional jiaozi (that is the smaller delicious pork and green onion) rather than those thick breaded wanna be baozi monstrosities that have a funky after taste you find at other places. Also their "crispy beef" is very good. I've really been craving some "Xihongshi chao Jidan " made more like a soup served over rice but no one makes it.
