Raw oysters are the best if that’s what you like , I love em and the sushi is great . All the drinks are great, so come one come all live music dancing just a beautiful place to be . All this by the water it simply amazing
Beautiful location! Awesome Staff Delicious drinks & Sushi
This place is absolutely terrible. What kind of dock bar doesn’t serve you without shoes on. Disrespectful customer service. Absolutely stay away from this place.
Food had good flavor. However, all of the items that were fried (mozzarella sticks, fish&chips, and fries) were served in baskets swimming in their own oil. It was as if the fried items had no time to drain excess oil and were put directly in the baskets.Staff were courteous and attentive and the menu looked to have a decent repertoire.
So I have to start off saying we went here because we wanted a Sunday brunch on the water. We chose this place over others because their site said Sunday brunch. We arrived around 1145 and did not get seated until 1225 and were not given brunch menus. We found out, they don't actually serve Sunday brunch, they serve Sunday breakfast until 1150. Their website not only did not give brunch times, it's also riddled with spelling errors. I was super disappointed seeing all the other breakfast dishes on all the other tables and not getting to order it. On top of that, when we did get seated, there were at least a dozen empty tables. Not sure why we had a 40 minute wait. From there, the service was super slow. It took over 10 minutes before the waitress even came to our table, it took at least 10 minutes for her to be able to bring anything we asked for, like an extra water. The waitress was nice but I guess the layout of the place took her forever to get anything for their guests. Luckily I was not starving or in any hurry. The view was nice, the food was good. Nothing special about the lunch menu to make us want to go back, but it was enjoyable. Overall, it wasn't a great experience, but not necessarily a bad one either.People seemed to be enjoying themselves and drinking, so if that is your kind of atmosphere, this is a good place for you.
We went for dinner on 3/17 and our server, AJ, was absolutely phenomenal! We ordered the Fried Pickles as an appetizer. Personally, I'm VERY picky about fried pickles. That said, Broken Oar knocked it out of the park. If you're a fan of fried pickles, definitely give these a try.We also ordered a couple sushi rolls (Veggie Combo and Shrimp Tempura). They were pretty good flavor-wise. The only thing I could be critical of would be that the slices of the roll came out a bit thinner than I'm used to, but it was fine. The flavor was still awesome. As for entree, we ordered some wraps which were ready and at our table VERY quickly. I had the Baltimore Wrap myself. As I'm not a fan of horseradish, I did order it without the horseradish sauce. One thing to note was that it seems the "Old Bay Chips" are, in fact, seasoned french fries, but they were delicious either way. Fiance had the Steak and Shrimp Wrap without the mayo and tomatoes and seemed to really enjoy it.Be wary of parking. Broken Oar has notices on their door as well, but you will want to park in the upper parking lot. There seems to be some slip required by the marina to park down by the dock. Without the slip, you could be towed.Overall, highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a new restaurant to try.
I’ve been for burger night, trivia, music bingo, and brunch. Decently priced (can’t beat the winter late night happy hour). The burger was amazing, but the highlight for me was the scrapple on the breakfast sandwich.
Just a so-so restaurant. Their 50/50 crab soup was great and then the last month or 2 is horrible. The menu doesn’t have many options. We live at the marina and when we have friends over we have to go somewhere else for better food. You would think its on the water they would have more seafood options and steam crabs during the season. They need to maybe add steak options also.
Good food Great server! Had a good time
We had been here once before the fire when it was called Nabbs Creek, and liked what we saw and experienced on this visit. They had a nice happy hour with $3 domestic pints, other drink specials and 20% off selected appetizers as well as daily specials. We went with the $3 Bud Light and what I thought was a Michelob drafts, that turned out to be Michelob Ultra, but fared better than my brother-in-law who was charged $10 each for his Crooked Crab drafts. My Stoney Creek Burger with bacon ,cheese and crab dip was pretty good, but is a lot of food. The house Old Bay chips were pretty good also. My wife said her Maryland crab soup was as good as she had ever had and her steamed shrimp was cooked just right with a nice Old Bay spice. They have a nice bar and dining areas with views of the water as well as outside dining on the water. This place is due for a revisit as summer nears. The only surprise was we didn't see oyster sandwiches or stew on the menu. Excellent waitress that was listed as AM B on the receipt.
