Worst service ever! To pick up the meal, I checked in at the window and the receptionist told me it would take 5 minutes and it would be delivered to my car. But after I wait 20 minutes, I get back to the window. Another Asian lady receptionist with glasses told me she didn't have this order and needed me to wait another 20 minutes. And rudely told me to wait again or go . Gosh, this is not worth it.
My younger daughter loves their wings. The menu is very good. However the price level doesn’t justify very frequently take outs when compared to other options at the same price level.
Great food and a very clean place. You must try the sliders and the wings. The spicy is not for the faint of heart and stomach.Update: May 2022. The quality of the food seems to have dropped drastically. I got the strips and they were generic frozen chicken strips with barely any sauce. They were hard and flavorless.
I dont know what the hell is going on with Bonchon, but they have been hiking their prices exponentially. A year ago, 10 strips used to be 13$. The chicken katsu used to be 11$. They don't have 10 strips anymore. Now it's 8, and now it's $17 for those 8. The katsu portions is the same, but now it's $17. And the quality is going down. They used to be reliable, but this place is going down fast.
The new strips are terrible. I could get them out of a bag marked Tyson's or Perdue at Giant and pay far, far less. Please revert back to the original strips!
Spot on spicy chicken and kimchi! Holy cow we enjoyed it. Also tried The Udon, katsu, pork buns, seasoned fries. Kids definitely want to go back again
The BonChon Chicken strip recipe has been changed for the terrible!!! My husband and I would frequent the Germantown BonChon twice a week. We always bought the chicken strips because they're so crispy and amazing. Recently, they changed their recipe to something breaded. They're disgusting. If they keep them this way, we'll start to order from the Korean restaurant next door instead, because this change is just gross. Go back to the original recipe, PLEASE!!!
I ordered online a Bulgogi plate online, the food was delicious, quick pick up from the drive thru.
Very happy so far with my delivery orders. The soy garlic wings are the best, and the japchae is also very good. Will order again, especially if they have more free/low delivery deals.
The food is good, don't get me wrong. Chicken and tenders were super crispy and nicely cooked. It was first time trying it, and I guess my mistake was that I ordered half plain because I thought the soy garlic would be too much but boy was it plain, maybe they don't use salt/pepper at all? Even the rice was on the plain side, luckily the kimchi added some flavor, and the fries were very crispy.
