The Blackwall Barn & Lodge

It took 15 minutes for a server to come to the table. No specials were shared for the day or bread offered for the table. Fish was over cooked.

Would absolutely recommend. Food was delicious, service was exceptional. We were sat out in the patio with the bartender as our waiter and he did an amazing job on welcoming us to the restaurant. He assisted with menu decisions which were super great. We’ll be back to try out the Sunday Brunch and Friday live music.

Very nice dinner at the Blackwall Barn and Lodge last night. Cocktails were generous, salad was enormous, entrees were delicious and well portioned and our server was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. All told, we had a lovely meal at a good restaurant. We'll definitely go back.

This is a great place for brunch! Be sure to come prepared to eat well. My only concern was some of the food was warm, not hot. It’s very busy on Sunday’s so, being proactive about items that are getting low, instead or waiting for someone to request more would be a better practice. Things I wanted to try, especially popular items were frequently in need of refills. I also think because it’s such a large open space, covering the baked goods would be more appealing! The unlimited mimosas are worth the price. Overall, it’s a great brunch, but could use some more attention and customer consideration for the high traffic.

Delicious food. Variety breakfast and seafood, along with tasty desserts. 1015 reservation, we were seated in less than 5 minutes in comfortable booth. Walk to buffet sometimes crowded. Buffet room itself is huge. Juice was cold, but water was not. Hostess cheerful and energetic. Waitress busy. Cost was over $100 for two without alcoholic beverages, including tip.

The server was good but for the price of the food was not worth it. The meat portion was excellent, but the veggies were poor. We had the crab dip and basically it was all cream, a hint of crab flavor Noted it was an anniversary, and there was no mention of recognition Why ask on reservation if nothing is done Won’t be coming back……value my money to much

When we came in we’re standing there with no one at the front another couple walked in not the the same race and they were greeted before as if we are not standing there the hostess with the blonde ponytail greeted the Caucasian couple when we were standing there first and the couple did not make it any better and tell them we were there first. But I feel like it was a color thing and I didn’t how it made me feel at all. I didn’t get the hostess name and I wish I should have. But we had kaitlyn as a server and we loved her she was amazing. She treated me and my family great and checked on us making sure everything was ok and did a special something for my daughter. We came there to celebrate with her for her 11th birthday and I don’t like that the hostess treated us that way. When she first came out she stood on the side have a whole conversation while we were waiting at the front door. Other than that the food was good and the hospitality after we were seated was spot on.

From the time you entered the establishment and dined, the experience was outstanding. Our server was fantastic. What topped the experience, was the manager stopping by to talk with us to see how our experience was. Loved that!! We will definitely be returning!!

We waited over 15 minutes to be greeted by our server, our cocktails sat at the bar for another 20mins before the sever brought them to our table ( the ice had started to melt and the glasses were covered in condensation). We order pasta and short ribs for dinner, the pasta was in a bowl of oil and no favor. the short rib was half warm have cold. Would not recommend.

Nice atmosphere but not plush. Excellent service. Food was good. Prices way too high, added a general surcharge, and charged for use of credit cards.
