Great dining place to eat. Place wasn't that crowded. It was clean, somebody cleaning the table as soon as somebody leaves. Food was delicious as usual. I ordered pick 2 with half tuna sandwich and Fuji apple chicken salad with a drink and my husband ordered also pick 2 with half sandwich of chicken avocado melt and cream of chicken with wild rice and water. We added a cookie for $1.05 instead of $2.95, which is a bonus if you order a meal with a drink. My salad and his soup came with a bread. It was a good portion so I had to pack my sandwich for to go. All of these for $25.05. You can refill the drink as much as you want with so many choices. My favori/e is Greentea with passion fruit and papaya. No wonder a lot of people hang out with their computers. You eat, relax and drink.
5/14/22Went in to order a bagel with cream cheese. No issues or complaints with how the quality of service or food was. There was a long line of people waiting for their food. There are a few tables outside for dinning and they offer mobile order pickup. The parking is located behind the location of the restaurant and there is a sidewalk that is wheelchair accessible. Nothing stuck out to me that was above and beyond about this Panera; just your average on the go snack/meal option. My experience is that if you’re not there prior to 10:00 am, they are sold out of most pastries, but you can check the availability in the mobile app.
Everything about this location is sloppy. The staff. The food. The dining room. Besides the obvious health code violations (imagine 75% of the staff looks like Troy Polamalu without a hairnet), they put a fraction of the cheese on their flatbread pizzas compared to other stores. If I'm paying $10 for a pizza the size of a tissue box, I should not be able to see 50% of the crust. I tried to get them to put a normal amount of cheese on once and they charged me for it! It still wasn't enough. Plus, service is usually slow. Save yourself the headache and go to the store in Laurel instead (rt. 198). The rats in the drive-thru are huge, but they make the best flatbreads in the area, hands down!
Went to the Panera next to Post office in I believe is odenton, not jesdip. Only customer at counter, no cashier to take my order, waited 3-4 minutes the went back to food pickup area where there was about 5 people, told them I had been up front for 3-4 minutes and no one waited on me. Told cashier walking around and would be up front soon. Went back to counter and waited another 3-4 minutes. Went back to food pickup area and told them that I give up...and left. Never had bad service or been treated with neglect at a Panera before. No one there seemed concerned.
This morning, this Panera bread went out of their way to ensure I had fresh and delicious breakfast! I placed an order for curbside pickup at 7am (but life) an so couldn’t get their until 9:30 :(. They made me a fresh sandwich and smoothie. The gentleman that brought the items out was so warm and friendly. Wow. Thank you for the above and beyond customer service! I will be back
Ordered the chicken salad and didn't realize it was a sandwich. Of course got a sandwich. Went in to change the order and was kicked out for not wearing a mask. The girl at the register told the mgr to tell me to put on a mask. When he did, I refused. He then insisted and i asked what would happen if i didn't. He replied, 'Oh, you don't wanna do that.' So now it appears Panera isn't above threatening people if they don't wear a mask. I didn't wear one when I first went in and there was no problem. Threw the meal away after I left (both soup and and sandwich.) Mgr. knew I was in to order a different meal and I had told two associates I am gluten free the second time I went in. Thanks for nothing. And why are masks required when most ppl are vaccinated and boosted, at this point? Plus, people are sitting there at the tables, unmasked. Me and my family will not be back.
I am a former employee of Panera at a location in Maryland. They were hiring and needed help so I joined the team. I know what every position at Panera entails, hard work. My experience with this particular Panera (Gambrills) has been awful. I order Grubhub a few times a week, mainly Panera and my order is rarely done to my specifications. I order half a sandwich w/out tomatoes & cup of soup every time, it costs more than $20. It ALWAYS comes with tomatoes. A half of a sandwich and a cup of soup costs MORE than TWENTY DOLLARS.Today I went in for lunch and was refused serve because I was not wearing a mask. Panera may not currently care about one or two customers who refuse to be subjected to UNLAWFUL behavior by businesses like Panera, as they are following POLITICAL advice rather than SCIENCE, but eventually they will see how when taxpaying citizens come together, they will suffer the loss in revenue.Panera is now on my list of places NOT to patron.
Tables dirty, carpet had trash around most areas, lots of staff wandering around with no purpose, food prep area filthy, ladies bathroom horrendous. Attempted to speak to the manager 3x. I had to call to him 2x from the counter and very unresponsive. He was the most lacking and unconcerned manager blaming guests for the dirty restaurant. Seriously…, I’ve never seen such disorganized management in a restaurant environment. The manager did not care. I could go on….,
On point, love this place! Customer service is awesome and food is good. More restaurants should work towards their model of customer service.
Awesome cafe for lunch, breakfast and dinner. You can never go wrong here. Fast service, friendly service and delicious food.
