We had an outstanding meal. Everything was fresh and expertly prepared.
Very professional staff , good food, not a long wait between ordering and receiving the food
Brought my family in yesterday afternoon to celebrate my sons bday; hostess was VERY attentive - greeted us promptly, took our orders in a very timely manner & was constantly topping off our glasses: fantastic service overall!!! ??Ambiance is superb! ?Food was tasteful up till the last bite, entrees are delicious & wholesome, desserts are delectable - you’d want to lick your plate ?We will return again, you’ve earned out business! ?
Rude!!! We just finished dinner and barely our drinks and they told us to leave. I don’t care if it’s Friday night, they kicked us out like we didn’t pay. What’s wrong with them? And that was the manager. The food was ok, a small step better than the grocery store. The sushi rolls are nothing special. Slow service.
Small place with big taste and friendly staff. Waitress checked in an appropriate amount of times. She didn’t hover the entire time, nor did she leave us waiting. Hibachi food was great. Would highly recommend.
Smaller place with great food and staff! We were told about this place by someone else and it did not disappoint at all!
The Playboy Roll was delicious! I’ll be coming back again for that one. I liked the Poseidon Roll as well but I’m more into tempura than fresh tuna, so the Playboy was the winner for me. The service was great too - quick and attentive.
I saw the high reviews and decided to give Otani a try. I ordered takeout, and the gentleman who took my order was very pleasant. When I picked up, everyone was very accommodating. Unfortunately the sushi is not that great. I don’t eat raw fish, so I usually order California rolls, tempura shrimp rolls, etc. I was sad that the sushi rice itself was terrible. It was very dry and definitely was not prepared the traditional way. Sushi rice is seasoned with rice vinegar, salt and sugar and cooled down quickly as the seasoned vinegar is combined with it. This process allows the flavor to “soak” into the rice. This rice only saw the inside of a rice cooker. It had absolutely no hint of flavor.I will continue my search for a good Japanese restaurant since I will not be returning here.
Ordered Takeout for dinner and an entree was missing. Pineapple Seafood fried rice and shrimp fried rice was over cooked. Shrimp hibachi tasted like rubber. Boston sushi roll wasn’t rolled probably. Please don’t waste your money!!! Fuji Japanese at Waugh Chapel is much better! I called to complain about the quality of food and she just said no one else called to complain. This restaurant is not customer centric.
Best sushi spot in the area, always got great music on too. Service is immaculate, always asking if your table needs anything, refilling water, and making you feel good. Highly recommend if you’re looking for sushi and they even have great chicken Katsu with ample portion size.
