Nice place to eat. The food was delicious .Nice atmosphere sitting outside. We definitely come again!
The service was great. I ordered a virgin margarita and was slightly disappointed. The waiters respected my timing for food. The only issue mostly is the price. It is overpriced. I understand the aesthetics is nice, perhaps ingredients are top quality, regardless it is beyond more than what they should be. My dish was good but not great however, the smoky rotisserie chicken was torched perhaps and a strong smell was left behind. I had the dish before and this was not what I had in mind. The calamari was above average but the sauce can be worked on a bit more. Overall the experience was good but not great.
We were 8 people and Yianni our server did a fantastic job specially when restaurant was fully packed. We celebrated 3 birthdays with one cake and Yianni did his best to give us the best experience.Heated and cooled outdoor tables.Nice place. Food was great, chef and kitchen staff nailed it. Highly recommended.
There was a slight snafu after we were seated for our 8:30pm reservation. The server was not aware we were seated , and we ended up waiting a bit before we flagged down another server to inquire who was waiting on us. The manager came to our table to apologize for the confusion and assured they would take great care of us. They made sure our waters were never empty and checked regularly if we needed any refills from the bar. The food came out amazingly fast and was the most delicious dinner. The staff was professional, warm, and friendly; the food was impeccable. I normally would go to Cava but, after our friends introduced us to this place, I probably will only come here. I think it is much better than Cava. Even though there was a little mix up in the beginning, the most important part was the mistake was acknowledged and fixed. Mistakes happen, but the customer service was outstanding in this case to more than correct a very minor error. I would totally recommend Vasili's for any occasion. The atmosphere is delightful, the staff attentive and caring, and the food? ***Chef's kiss***
The best dish was the appetizer “grilled octopus “. So tender and delicious. The rest of the dishes were pretty normal. Our waitress was very nice.
Been a long time customer and fan of this place. The location has changed from old to the new one but their food is still awesome as always, and so is there service. Love their smoked old fashioned, chicken kebabs and my 7 year old loves their meatballs. Pretty much every dish I have tried here is really good!
The food was excellent in my opinion. We got a significant amount of food/dishes and noticed the vegetables are done very well here. They helped us out too in getting our reservation. Definitely going back.
Fancy and stylish European atmosphere, it really felt like sitting in a metropolitan lounge in Europe. The staff is really attentive and friendly. On the other hand, you also pay metropolitan prices, $18 for little chicken filled pita!? Please! The food didn't even taste like freshly made.I would recommend it for a date night, for the experience, tho.
The good news. Friendly, nice decor. The bad news: Overpriced. The fried calamari was good...overpriced. The eggplant salad was tasty but more like Caponata. The roasted chicken and lentil salad wasn't bad. Since I know Greeks and have eaten in Greek Restaurants in Greektown in Baltimore and home prepared foods from those friends. That said the Spanakopita and Saganaki were off. First time I have ever seen Spanakopita that wasn't flamed. Just a breaded square of cheese that was baked. As for the Spanakolita had very little filling and little feta. The dough was thick. Not the layers of Phyllo dough. I have seen more authentic in frozen foods. Moussaka okay. As for telling an anniversity. Nothing. Won't be returning.
Probably one of the best Greek food in town. It trully upraises the Greek cuisine and gives you a sense of uniqeness in every taste. Fun fact: we found out that the menu was made from one of Greece's top chefs Lucacos!
