Go to the location in the Kentlands if you enjoy your coffee sass-free.This is one of the few locations in Gaithersburg that has a drive thru. I let the barista at the drive thru monitor know twice but politely that I needed more time to order. No big deal. When I decided what I wanted, I read my order to this barista, but I heard nothing else from her. I decided to drive to the window to ensure they received my order, but I guess the extra 20 seconds of indecision when placing my order was too much for her. She coldly said that they aren’t accepting drive thru orders and directed me to go inside to place my order. I could clearly see there were other cars in the drive thru being served, so I knew it was BS. I said ok and left the Starbucks entirely.I called the location afterwards with the intention of speaking to their management. Their phone line was busy.I didn’t have to deal with any of this stupidity at the Starbucks drive thru in the Kentlands yesterday. It’s only a few additional minutes up the road, so I’d recommend going there instead.
Drive thru Starbucks? Heck yeah! I'm not getting out of my car until I've gotten coffee ?
One of my Favorite Starbucks locations. Friendly staff and the baristas enjoy their creations and it’s a winner every time.
Since this is a 24 hour location, my family and went to grabs some drinks around 10 pm. While placing our order via drive-thru, the employee sounded very annoyed at every drink order I was trying to place. There were long pauses between orders. She spoke in a very rude tone with me. So I was just sitting there confused not sure if she could hear me. After pulling up to the window, my family and I instantly noticed the nasty attitude this employee had, the long sighs, continued eye rolls. She looked very upset to be there. We ordered 3 drinks, and when I finally received the last one. I realized it was wrong, drink was supposed to be iced not warmed. I instantly said wait this is wrong, and she quickly shut the window in my face and turned around. So then I continued to wait until She turned back around. When she did, she saw us and started to roll her eyes throwing her head back and forth, she opened the window and I said this is wrong it’s supposed to be iced. Handed her back the drink and she continued to roll her eyes at us taking deep breaths like I’ve wronged her in some way. I immediately asked for my wrong drink back because I was already so uncomfortable with her attitude and how rude she was being that I didn’t want her tampering or messing up my drink even more.I go to Starbucks all the time, travel a lot and go to many different locations, never have I ever been treated so poorly at one. This was the only 24 hr location close to me at the time and entire experience sucked. I was with my kid and he noticed everything too.Poor customer service, will not be returning here again.
I literally was just there. They made my drink wrong twice. And I was trying to fix it and the barista’s getting an attitude with me like really no customer service at all. Terrible customer service. I work at Starbucks and for them to be disrespectful is ridiculous don’t go to this location because they will have attitudes. Instead of trying to argue with me learn how to make drinks right.
Bad service, I asked for a mango dragon fruit refresher with light ice but they gave me a cup full of ice. I only took one sip. Basically they sold me ice.
Every time I go to the Quince Orchard location it's closed. They are always out of everything. Call first if you must go, but I recommend not wasting your time and money.
Shady location, the drive thru infrastructure needs work- be careful! And the customer service could be better
I absolutely love this location! I accidentally placed the wrong order and Greg fixed it without any hesitation. This is what customer service should look like everywhere!
I come for the coffee and stay for the excellent customer service and laughs. Amazing crew, especially on a Saturday morning when the drive-thru is 15-20 cars deep. They keep their spirits up and hustle hard.
