Thank you Vanessa , Lindsey and Staff for helping to make my daughters Birthday Brunch a success . You all were very patient and attentive. Food was great and the kids enjoyed playing the games
Every surface was sticky. Bartenders ignored me ,didn't seem to care about doing their job. A few of us got sick afterwards, thank God it was not covid19. I assume this was related to the lack of cleanliness. The seating around the band was awful. Access to a large portion was not possible due to long tables and benches being up against the wall.
My son and his girlfriend visited South House Garden for brunch and enjoyed it so much he wanted to take the family there. I arrived before everyone else in my party and upon approaching the bar was greeted by Jasmine who helped me at the bar while waiting for the rest of my family.Self seating was available with plenty of tables open towards the front on a Wednesday night. Karaoke was being hosted in the game area by DJ Ty. It sounded like a blast although I can understand those who complained about the sound. I'll definitely be back on a Wednesday to check it out.The dinner menu was limited blah... service was ok.... nothing to write home about but, not bad enough to prevent me from returning. The server didn't even offer their name until I asked for it so I won't mention them. I waited longer than I would've liked to for water and eventually a pitcher was provided. Some outdoor seating is available and seems like it can be a very energetic atmosphere during peak hours (maybe brunch).I ate one of my birria tacos but felt like they were missing something (but they were full) and didn't feel confident enough to send them back and request something else.I didn't like the fact that gratuity was included for mediocre service. I would much rather adjust it up or down based on the service received.I experienced the fried deviled eggs somewhere else and just remembered they taste great with the chilli sauce drizzled over them. I may try them again ?.I'll update this after I experience brunch
I had the chicken and waffles and the presentation of the food was gorgeous. Chicken was very tasteful and well seasoned. Staff was courteous. In addition received a birthday drink in celebration of my birthday. That's definitely a nice unexpected added touch. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Kudos to the staff and owners.
The food and atmosphere was really good. The decorations are on point and make it a very photogenic place. Also the entertainment is really nice especially with the live band on the weekends. My only complaint which isn't really a complaint is the staff. They are kind and hard working but it seems they might be new which is easily corrected by just doing proper training and more experience. I really hope this place succeeds.
So we ordered the Birria tacos and the fish tacos those were delicious and the Birria pizza was ???? I'm so mad my greedy a$$ didn't get pics of nothing but the drink I had. We will definitely go for brunch and more Birria pizza (Homer Simpson drool)We went for brunch I got to see the rest of the place which was beautiful and they have a gaming area. This time we got the chicken and waffles and the lobster Mac and cheese. ????
Love, love, love the atmosphere, decor, and the staff. And they have swings at certain tables!! I stopped by for brunch a week ago for the first time, and it was a great experience. I had the Cajun fried lobster mac & cheese, and it was soooo good. Well, let me clarify - the LOBSTER was amazing!! The mac & cheese was good, but it needed a dash more salt or the Cajun seasoning that was on the lobster. Overall, I thought it was good but not worth $29 overall. However (comma), I would definitely buy that lobster tail on the side on any day (and you can do that). I loved the bottomless mimosas, screwdriver or bloody mary options. I had the mimosas, and they were great! Carlos was my outstanding bartender/server! And I hope to return to try the shrimp and grits soon.
Such a great atmosphere and the food is amazing! Staff is so kind and friendly! I order take out all the time and love the brunch!! The birria tacos are so good and the voodoo shrimp is amazing! Brunch I had the bananas foster French toast, chicken and waffles, lobster Mac and cheese and the breakfast pizza. All I give 100/10 ! Best part they’re black owned! Go enjoy bottomless mimosas!!
I came here on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted and sat immediately. The restaurant is VERY spacious so I felt very comfortable sitting and dining. The waiter gave my Aunt and I UNO cards which was really fun. A small gesture that enhanced our dining experience. We got your basic bar food (pizza and fried apps) which were good. I highly recommend this place!
My husband and I visited for lunch a few weeks ago. It was a fun atmosphere with lots of space so we were able to safely social distance while inside. This restaurant is located right by the train tracks and it’s really cool when the trains ride by. It took us a while to get our drinks, but I guess everyone is short staffed now, so we were patient. Our waitress was really nice and so were the other staff. My husband had the tator tot nachos, he said it wasn’t great. My burger however was delicious! I ate the whole thing in one sitting. My fries were also good, I had no complaints with my food. Aside from a full bar and food, they also have large TV’s to watch sports games, and an arcade area. Pretty cool restaurant, we will definitely be back!
