Costs $$ but you get a good portion size to reflect the price. The flavors were complementary. The heavy batter on the cod & it was a little salty. But no hint of salt on the black beans. Even so, it was still pretty good.

I have visited here for many years and I'm very happy, satisfied and thankful for the remarkable service I received at every visit. I would like to complement all the amazing staff who works there. Fantastic food and great service from hard working staff. We ordered the beef and lamb sandwiches as well as the pork burrito. Our sides were steamed spinach and yucca fries (best yucca fries I've ever had, anywhere). We also received complimentary chips and salsa. Everything was so fresh and absolutely delicious!
As far as I am concerned, this place is getting better and better. I have eaten at the bar and at a table. It is rather small restaurant near the residential part of the Kentlands; patio seating is available, too. I usually get a quarter or half chicken, with black beans and rice, with a beer. It hits the spot. My wife gets the tacos.

Cute little place on Main Street in The Kentlands. Patio seating available. Server greeted us immediately with a great big smile, and was super friendly. A complimentary bowl of Chips and Salsa was served before our meal. Their Queso Dip was awesome, as were the Fajitas. We did not enjoy the Pork Tacos as much, a bit dry. Overall a great experience. Would Recommend.

Our favourite restaurant in Kentlands. With cooked delicious food and friendly gang serving. All this makes this family run hostelry a cut above any of the countless chain eateries which fill most of the area.Can't recommend too highly.
My daughter and I went there for lunch. Awesome food. Great service. We will be back.
