Absolutely delicious! The rice, mashed potatoes and chicken were all full of flavor and well cooked. The food was ready for pick up when I arrived. Highly recommend and this is my go to chicken place for now. :) the only thing I found a bit odd was that there chicken meals didn’t come to tortillas automatically. Prices were also pretty good.
Probably the best Peruvian/grilled chicken in the area. Not the greatest place to dine in as the decor feels a bit old.You get hot juicy chicken with really good marination. The quality and quantity is above other joints in the area.The plantains are also sweet and crispy.The yuca fries are a bit hard and are average.Overall, a good place to get chicken for takeout.
Nice Peruvian chicken joint. Clean and fast service. It was just right for a last minute family meal, but the yucca fries were not the best I've had. Otherwise perfect.
So happy I found this place. The DC area has a lot of very good Peruvian chicken places Sardi’s is the best of them all. All of their sides and the sauces…. Amazing! Don’t miss out!
This place used to be it. And they have certainly persevered through fires. The chicken is still quite tasty juicy delicious flavorful... My real gripe is with the salsa verde.. it comes prepackaged now as opposed to earlier on when it was made in site.. and now it's basically mayonnaise.. I don't know who they made the change for but it's pushed me to other Peruvian chicken
Glad to see that they're back in action after a fire seemed to close them down for a while. I love being able to get a chicken or part of a chicken with all the different sides. Most of the time the food is super fresh & delicious & I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for great rotisserie chicken.
The food is always superlative! However, that excellence is comes at a price - popularity! Around mealtime the lines are incredibly long. The staff is hustling, too, so they don't deserve any blame! It's just that idiots like me who decide to stop in at 5pm on a Saturday and are surprised that it takes more than 30 minutes to get to place a takeout order. But once I got it's home, it was as fabulous as ever!
Food is amazing ?? get the wok fried vegetables and rice. The only downside side was the bun on my crispy chicken sandwich was soggy.
The atmosphere is great, the music is always on point and the staff is inviting and friendly. Keep doing what you do and we'll keep coming.
